Hi everyone,

Just a quick question, may be someone knows. How long does it take on average for Belarusians at Warsaw embassy to receive their case number at NVC ? Or like the whole process from Noa2 —> NVC done?

Noa1 old website: 27th of February

Noa1 new website: 2nd of March

Noa2: 05.09.2018

NVC case number assigned: 24.09.2018

NVC READY: 06.11.2018

Interview at Warsaw embassy: 08.11.2018

In the USA: 21.11.2018

I believe it’s the same process as everyone. Once you get approved(NOA2), after 7-10 days you can already call NVC and ask for your case number. Or you can also email them at ASKNVC@state.gov they are very responsive to emails.

So basically I can get my case number 10 days after? Or is it different for everyone and there is no guarantee ? And once I get my case number I will be able to call and schedule my medical appointment and interview?

Thanks for reply in advance 😊

No guarantee. According to NVC it can take 4-6weeks for them to provide you your case number. Calling them after 10days could only mean for follow up if they can provide it to you in advance(you know some sort of trying) hehehe. But, they are very responsive that’s all i can say to you. If they can’t be able to update you when you called, then try again the next week.

For medical and interview, please refer to your country’s US embassy procedures because every country is different.

You are very welcome.😊

Okay I see, I just checked American embassy in Poland website and it says that I can’t schedule an interview without their letter of instructions send to me first. That is quite annoying , but oh well just have to deal with it I guess.

This is the famous Packet 3. :D This contains all the instructions and their needed requirements to you prior to your interview. Almost the same here in HK too. Goodluck to u(s)..

Oh yeah good luck to you too. Do you know how long will we have to wait for it? Or is it different for every embassy?

Hello Fellow March Filers,😌😍

It has been an emotional roller coaster. My fiance and I cannot bare another moment apart from each other any second longer 😔.

I am planning an escape to go visit him next month in September and hoping to receive the NOA2 while being there with him. Argh, this process is just a mental headache. We filed without a lawyer to save on expenses; it was a pain in the #######.  I can relate to those of you who mention the annoyance of friends and family constantly asking about the wedding. It is wonderful to have so much support from everyone & I know that everyone is genuinely ecstatic for us, but gahgeezbus! I also have to explain how long the process is almost every single day 🤭

Also, I've never been a fiance or future bride before & my mind is warped around who I'd like my bridal party to be and how much Id have to expect to spend for a wedding (future bridezilla over here) -- I just want everything to be perfect when he gets here 🤪😈🤓

Hello, fellow Marchies! First-time poster here. My fiancé in London moved flats recently — how do I update his new address with USCIS? Do I send a letter? Will this slow anything down or delay our NOA2? Should I wait until the NVC to change his address? Help!

It's advisable to contact NVC via https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html to update your email address as well as your beneficiary's email address.

For USCIS use https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange

It doesn’t look like this info is relevant for changing the beneficiary (foreign fiancé’s) address on a pending I-129f case. I can only change my address online with USCIS. Not my fiancé’s.

You can't update the beneficiary's address with USCIS, but that's not a problem, because they won't ever send anything to the beneficiary.

If you want to update the beneficiary's contact info, you have to do it at the NVC or embassy stage.

Most embassies will only contact the beneficiary by email until it's time to mail back his or her passport with the visa in it.
