Awesome! How long will you be over there and which part of the country is your fiance from?

24 days.   I was there for 19 days back in March/April.   She's in General Santos.

Happy Monday, everyone! August is already almost halfway over! Can you guys believe it?

It's been 7 months since I last saw my fiance but I'll be flying out there again to see him in a couple of weeks. And soon after that I hope to hear of an approval! We're sooooo close! :clock:

P.S. Every other thread does this, but did we ever decide on a group name for our month? Are we the Marchies or Marchers or something? :jest:

Yay! I'm happy that you guys will meet soon! I wish a great vacations time for both.

Luckily I was able to go to the US in April and my fiancé came here in June for a week and in July/August we went together to Germany and The Netherlands, just in time to attend both Berlin and Amsterdam prides 😁

It helps with the waiting. Next time we will see each other will be in November, so I hope to have good news by then!

Regarding the name, I'm not the most creative person, but I approve the idea ahah

Just to give u some insite on how many cases there actually are for ur month...

Hai! Where did you get this? I'm curious of how many petitions filed on april, may and june 2018 since it might affect how long will it take them to touch our case. Thank you!

Info is no longer available. It was taken from old uscis website. About 2 months ago uscis started using the new site and fazed pout the old one. Leaving us all on the dark..

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Shame. I'm  curious because the number for touched and approved cases are a LOT less compared to previous months. Almost like like they don't do anything to the cases....

Anyway, Thank you!

Hi March family,

Obviously, my fiance and I are gay. Unfortunately, he  has never came out to his mom until last night along with the fact that we have a visa pending and getting married. Well, it didn't go well at all. It's not the visa that's the issue but the coming out as gay. Lots of hurtful things said by her and of course a disapproval of everything.

My question is, is there a chance this could affect our visa process?

He's the beneficiary. My parents have been extremely supportive and I just came out to them last year.

As long as he is over the legal age to marry they can't do anything to stop it.

Good of luck and hopefully they will come around in due time..

Thanks! He's most definitely over the legal age by many years although has a young face. 🙂

I was reading your signature on which date to use. Old site had March 7. The new site has a "submitted date" of March 9 but in the history, "we received your case" is dated March 10th. Is it the submitted date or the date in the history on the new site that I should use in my timeline? I assume the "we received your case" date but wasn't 100% sure since the old site didn't have two posted dates.
