All cases go to tsc. This is where they r collected and payment is accepted Andy processed. It’s then sent “not transferred” to csc. Csc does majority of k1 visas anymore. Vermont does special cases only.

Not tsc but the Texas lockbox, which is different. The applications are sent to the Texas lockbox and from there they are routed, not transferred, to a service center. Since 2015 csc is dealing with most of them, some odd ones go elsewhere (I’ve seen Vermont and Potomac last year)

I think you have to take the link as a small sampling of cases in the system and just use it as a indicator of all cases.  With the new uscis computer system i do not think anyone has access to the new system except uscis.

Does this mean that the private apps related to USCIS do not have access to information either?

I thought i reAd they only have access to the old website and not the new one.  With the old website going away for the most part i would say the best indicators are looking on here and see when people are getting approved.  I know with nearly 40,000 applications a year we only see

a small sampling on whats going on.

Also everyone is saying add 5 days from the old site to the new site.  Well my date was march 13 on the old and is now march 12 on the new.  At times there is no rhyme or reason on what uscis does.  Or it does not appear to us at least.

Yep. Something about knowing they're working on 2018 applications makes me pretty excited.

February tread reporting a few approvals for february.  Probably a fortunate few so uscis can still say 5 months to 7 months.   I think very few 5 month ones.

I checked the current visa journey timelines for people who have updated.  I went thru around 50 cases of the latest ones updated.  The approvals average 195 days.  Some right at 6 months and some over 7 months.  Most fell in between.  They may have picked up their speed somewhat after march and the 7.6 month approval.  I feel they probably did and much of the delay was figuring out the new computer system they installed.

Hey guys!

Gave a call to USCIS to see what they say. As he was going through my application he mention couple times "sorry, my system is a bit slow, we just recently had everything updated". Explains a lot.
No RFE for me as he explained, no additional info needed, nothing out of ordinary with my case, it was "gone through' and in line for officer to approve or deny it. So not sure how they do it. Do they like, skip through first to see who gets Requests for Evidence/information and then put it aside to be looked over closely?
He also said that i should be approved/denied/evaluated by the end of september for sure if nothing happens out of normal, i think he meant something, that would disrupt their work, as he seemed confident that my personal case was fine and just needs a stamp, atleast he made that impression to me.

Well, hope some get something out of this as well. Wanted to let everyone know what USCIS said.

P.

So they were able to give you that information even though you are not outside of the processing time yet? I thought we were not supposed to call unless its been way longer than expected to be approved. What exactly did you ask them-- I'm curious? Thanks for the info.

Hey.

I asked obvious questions as if i dont know what exactly to expect, and actually to double check.
I asked what is the status of the case at the moment?
When should i expect approval or denial?

Any additional information needed/required?
Was the case already touched, or went over, so that no info required
(he said it shows that it was "Handled" as he explained, went thru docs that were in the packet)

What happens IF i get approved?
What does petitioner has to do during NVC
(nothing from petitioner required, though he said more instructions will be on NOA2 about that, and he advised that after receiving NOA2, i should start gathering financial stuff for Affidavit of Support)

Any additional documents needed for embassy phase or NVC? Or anything else from Petitioner? (Not from me. He said he cannot comment with confidence on NVC since they are separate entity and he has no access to it. At the embassy phase beneficial will receive more instructions)
Basically he said standby, all is well with my case, no RFE, and everything is moving as they expect, but the system i guess is still not up to speed as he sounded frustrated with it. That explains the delay, at the moment. Maybe someone who has a relative, or close friend who works at USCIS could comment on this as i didn't ask him anything with regards to why is it so long.
when he asked at the beginning of conversation whether i want to know about the case, i said yes, because 5month window is coming up, and i heard nothing back from You guys apart "the first letter a week later, after i sent the petition". He was very very nice, and was very detailed. I just cant put everything down word-to-word how he said, but i'm just telling the main points of his answers.
