Will be one month since my application was sent to nvc. I am calling every week but they keep telling me it is in AP. I checked other people timeline, for those who had their case received on 13 last month most of their file have been routed to Rio. Do I need to worry?

EVERY case is different. If and when you reach 60 days then you need to begin your inquiry. For now, just sit tight. Believe me when I say others are in a more complicated state then you. Patience.

24th day since interview ( approved) no visa but ceac changed from AP to application recieved and updated December 10th. Any ideas what this means ??

Here is what happens at USEM and just about everyone experiences this after their interview. This is based off the discussions I had with the case officer who informed me of the steps for at the Embassy in Manila:

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out.

Mine did the same thing and it went to the second AP on the 4th December... It hasn't moved yet at all.

It's super frustrating as people who went after me have received theirs already but I'm hoping for some movement soon!!

I hope you receive yours soon too!

It’s irksome that it seems to vary so much by each case at this stage, but still so excited for all of us! We’ll get it soon. < 3

Our interview was Dec. 6 and we were approved (hooray!) Case was touched Thursday and today, but CEAC still says “Ready.”

Honestly becoming quite depressed late night anxiety over being stuck and ignored in AP for 3 weeks. At least, in other past stages we could pick up the phone and call and get an answer. But the embassy won't discuss a case on the phone, the embassy sends generic emails saying the same thing the CEAC tracker says. I guess I have to find some more patience within myself it's just so hard when they really didn't bother with any questions at the interview.

Hey guys who here is still waiting for NOA2? We’re on day 36 after sending in our RFE and keeping fingers crossed that we hear back by day 60. This is taking a lot longer than I thought because many people get NOA2 immediately after sending in their RFE.

Visa just changed to " issued " so hopefully within next week visa in hand .

Trusting the process and having patience is two attributes I preach day in and day out. Congratulations. I wish her safe travels and the two of you a happy life together. All the best.

Don't buy tickets till the visa is in her hands and that she has had time to look it over for spelling errors. It has happened a number of times at USEM this situation. Once everything is verified, BUY THAT TICKET!

The interview can be the worst part of this process because the interview last a mere 5 min and it is over. This is where you begin to ask yourself why all this for 5 min in front of the CO. Try as I may, I can't stress enough that this is the process and you have to trust the process. (Not pointed to you but to the GROUP) We don't have to like it but it is what it is.

True. I'd love to add that K-1 or any visa for that matter is a privilege not a right. Some get it sooner, some get it later, some get approved, some denied. All happens for a reason, and all this can be avoided by doing tons of research, covering "what if's" i like to call it. My now wife, was upset that she spent money on vaccinations that "she never needed", now once we are the edge of sending out AOS paperwork, and all of that is needed, and we have the vaccinations page, it makes it a lot easier down the line, and all of the sudden, she isn't upset.
Also, i learned to be a lot more patient, and to be prepared for worst. If best happens, good. If worst - you are ready. Win - Win.
Research is EXTREMELY important, especially with VisaJourney, @Greenbaum, Tips and Tricks, guides etc that are available here. USE them. Other people pay for RapidVisa, who are even more likely to mess up things, than yourself. Read instructions, if anything is unclear, unknown, or unsure about, You have all of US to help here!
One step gone, now onto AoS and soon enough, N-400!
Good luck everyone, and Congratulations to those who got approved!
Safe travels!

P.
