My case was received yesterday by NVC. No email, no mail, nothing. Expecting a case number, and maybe an email/mail.
you can start calling NVC after 10-14days from NOA2. I got very lucky and my case was received a bit earlier.

Today marks 200 days since NOA1... They got my RFE a week ago and I am trying very hard not to obsess and worry, since it is entirely normal for it to take longer than a week to respond.

Give them some time. I got NOA2 without RFE at 198.. You'll be alright, and think positive!

Totally understand the feeling. I never received any notification by e-mail that I was approved after my RFE. It literally only took about a week or little more and I received the NOA2 in the mail. So definitely be checking your mail. They do not always update their system. I'm fairly certain you will hear from them very soon. My lawyer let me know they have been catching up and moving much faster lately. So that's a very good thing! :) Try not to worry. It won't change anything. Its just part of this fun fun journey we are in with this visa process ;)

Here is the letter that you will receive from Mumbai Embassy. Read it over carefully and follow the instructions. Another member of VJ added some additional information contained below which outlines what he experienced.

Once you received your case number from NVC,  I would recommend you fill out DS-160 form and submit. Some say the packet 3 letter is nothing just waste of time same thing they have mention which you easily get from USCIS website when you called to the clinics to book your medical appointment date they will ask you have you received your packet letter or not. Just say yes and booked the appointment date however you will receive that letter within 2 weeks the day you will get your NVC number.

Go on USCIS website make your account with password and then pay your fees to Citibank or Axis bank. They will give you reference number. With that number you can book your biometric and interview appointment date. The fees are 18,500 and for medical but I recommend that you carry 20,000 with you in the event you need more. Be sure to  keep at least 7 days gap between medical and interview.

Here are two links for others who are processing now and maybe you can get your Embassy direct questions answered by experts.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Expect no less then two a possibly no more 3 weeks for a decision. Most who get RFE their cases are approved. Relax. You'll hear soon.

There is some information on the interview process located here on VJ under the "portal" tabs. For Ghana use https://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Ghana&cty=Accra this link. Emailing is probably going to be best for you.

You could also do a search  using the search box in the upper right hand corner here which will give you search results from just the topics here on VJ. Try and hook up with someone who is ahead of you by using the "portal" tab again for Ghana.
