Ours was over the IMB and dating site. Given I haven't been approved yet so can't say for certainty that what I provided will suffice but I was told it should be adequate by others. I submitted a cover letter of course with three pieces of evidence attached

1. A screenshot of the app's description in the Apple App Store that emphasized the app's purpose was to meet people local to the user's city.

2. A screenshot of the app's description in the Apple App Store that showed the app was free to use

3. The site's terms and conditions with portions highlighted emphasizing that no background checks were performed and that all content, profile data, and media are the sole responsibility of the user posting them

hello guys!

FYI, my timeline:

noa 1: March 1st (new site)

noa 2: Sept 10th

case number : Oct 3rd

Phone call from the Embassy : Oct 12th

*no calling USCIS for the case number for to expedite the case.

I have had a phone call today from the Embassy, but couldn't pick up the first time.

So i called back, but the person say she doesn't know who called so i just gotta wait.

I did, and i got the call about 4 hrs later, and the person was very kind.

she said she called to send me an e-mail, so she asked for my e-mail address.

I answered and also asked whether if it's Packet 3, and she answered "something like that"

Kind of vague, but I thought it was P3 for sure cuz according to a forum where I get informed from K1 visa beneficiaries,

it is very likely to be P3.

Jumping to my question,

We all know that the K1 visa expires within 90 days, and I would like to make sure the point of the date where it starts.

I have heard that it starts from the date I get my medical examination, but I personally think it's reasonable to start the day I enter the States.

So if you know please, It'd be so appreciated :)

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

So packet 3 is actually an email? Not an actual package in the mail? I’m curious

Hi everyone, quick question - is it actually possible for me to visit my fiance in the states , if i dont have a job? As i have gotten denied last december with the reason being "no ties to my country (uk) " as i didnt have a job and i wasnt in uni or anything, have any of you guys visited during this period without a job to return to? If so how were customs, and do you think its worth me trying to visit, because its been like over 220 days now with no word and i havent seen him since may and im dying ... haha 😓😓

I don’t know much about getting a tourist visa but my fiancée asked me about considering a tourist one just so she can see the country a bit. I think it’s a bad idea to apply for a tourist when u are applying for a fiancée. It’s like, already one is already processing and then you send another...seems a little funny if I try to think like a visa officer. I told my fiancé to wait and stay put. But I understand why you want to do it...i would go crazy if I didn’t see my fiancée all the time 😑

My fiancé visited me last month with no issues at all. U must provide proof that u will return. If u don't have any hard evidence to provide that u will return. I suggest taking a copy of ur noa1 and i129 petition. Explain to them why would u not return when ur going thru the process to come here legally.

You can try it, but chances are high that your fiance will be denied and you would have just wasted that application fee. Like you said, having a K-1 on file shows immigrant intent, so any officer looking at her tourist visa application will immediately assume she intends to overstay unless she can provide ironclad, incontrovertible evidence (like say, she has to be back home at a certain time or she'll forfeit a billion dollars 😆) that she'll be returning to her home country.
