Mine switched to AP Non-Immigrant today! How long did it take you to get from there to issued, if you don’t mind me asking?

My second AP change was on the 4th December and it changed to issued this morning...so about 8 days (6 working days)

Trusting the process and having patience is two attributes I preach day in and day out. Congratulations. I wish her safe travels and the two of you a happy life together. All the best.

Don't buy tickets till the visa is in her hands and that she has had time to look it over for spelling errors. It has happened a number of times at USEM this situation. Once everything is verified, BUY THAT TICKET!

Thank you !!

Is the post-approved interview process the same for all when it comes to the CEAC tracker? Our interview was completed on Dec 7th and the "immigrant visa" status has not been updated since Dec 7th and still says "ready". I also checked "non-immigrant visa" and it says "no status".

Is it possible that for other countries it does ever show "AP" and goes from ready to issued? I noticed that greenbaum showed a timeline at the PH USEM but not sure if that applies for other countries.

I had my visa interview in the consulate in Frankfurt on monday and will receive my passport with the issued visa in it tomorrow. It took them a total of five days to interview me, print a visa into my passport and get the passport to me.
I will most likely enter the US in the next two weeks, where I will marry my fiance and then adjust status.
Good luck everyone!

Congrats!! I'm from Germany too, with very similar NOA1 and NOA2 dates (NOA1 March 26th and NOA2 Nov 5th are ours) but unfortunately we are still "at nvc", even though we got our case number almost 2 weeks ago now. I was just wondering how long it took you from when NVC sent your case to Frankfurt until you received P3 and how long it took you then to get the appointment in Frankfurt? Might help me estimate my timeline :) Thanks for any info!!

hello everyone,

is it necessary to include bank statements when doing affidavit support i-134?

thanks

If you're mentioning assets, the statement that the official I-134 instructions ask for is probably called "Verification of Deposit" on your bank's web site (at least it is on mine). I called my bank and asked about it because I didn't see anything that sounded like what they were asking for in the I-134 instructions, but the bank's customer service rep pointed me at that.

But if your income is high enough, you don't have to mention assets (I did mostly out of thoroughness).

If you have income above the poverty level for your family size then you have nothing to really worry about. Here is what you prepare in the event they ask for your financials.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

hello,

does the police report needs to be translated to English?

thanks

If it is Spanish or English all is fine. It can be in either language, the native language of your country or English unless specified differently in the P3 letter.

Normally all Embassies follow the same regiment. Now their execution can be different. It seems they are either not working on your case, or they are not updating CEAC. I believe it is that they haven't touched your record since the interview.

Yes you can go from ready to issue in a blink of an eye. Normal visa in the passport is 2 weeks. Your mileage may vary.

I have the same question, we are also filing in Germany and got our case number December 6 yet we are still waiting for the package 3 to arrive.

What is confusing to me is is that it says “ready” even though we haven’t received the P3 yet but would like to make an appointment ASAP in Frankfurt.
