Yes-
When you use a co-sponsor, your fiance and the co-sponsor must both fill out the application.

The link above is to the wrong Affidavit
Don't do I-864, that's for AOS
You need to do I-134- and bring along the supporting documents that go with it. https://www.uscis.gov/i-134

Your specific embassy will usually tell you which documents they want for the interview

My understanding is that not every embassy looks at the same documents so when the time comes - so check with ur embassy

thank you so much! for your help :) My co-sponsor already fil the format, however we didn't know that my fiance needed to do it, so just in case I'll let him to do it as well and we won't be in trouble :) thank you again for your help and yes for sure I'll check in the embassy from my country :D

In these cases- always best to take everything
When you get there- the IO will take what they want and u can hold on to the rest

When my now husband went for his interview, I gave him everything
turns out, he only needed like 3/10000 things he had. lol
So just take them to be safe

yaaaa For sure, We haven't receive yet the NOA2, however we want to have everything ready, and not be running at the last minute :) cause as you can understand we're not living in the same place lol, so sending documents can take time.

Yup this is correct, the I-134 is what the petitioner needs to fill out, and any co-sponsors will have to fill out the same form as well.

BananaButton5 haha Stay busy....the more you think about it the more it will make you anxious. There are actually still people from Jan and Feb who have not received their NOA2. There are also people not on VJ that are getting approvals They'll come....hang in there.

Maeph The USCIS staff to application submissions ratio is exactly 1 to 1.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

A Joint Sponsor must meet all these requirements;

1.  Be over age 18; AND

2.  Be either a USC or LPR; AND

3.  Be domiciled in the US; AND

4.  Meets or exceed the 125% poverty level with income and/or assets for his/her household size

Hello, I am trying to find which K1 group might be at the same point that I (finally) am...I am a June 2017 filer and just received an RFE last week. Sent in the reply now waiting for NOA2. Good luck everyone!

Sorry but they turned out the lights long ago for that group. And the fees to join this group have gone up 3X's since you filed back in 2017. So pay up buckaroo. We need another pound of flesh.

I know you have experienced a lot along the way but I just wanted to up lift your spirits some. I feel your pain. I hope things begin to roll for you so you can end this nightmare. Best to you and if there is anything we can do just ask.

Also, the I-797 came with dates stating "Valid from 09/06/2018 to 01/05/2019". Is this something I should be concerned with if we can't schedule a consulate appointment before then?

Hmm good question. Mine says pretty much the same thing. I'm guessing it means that if you don't keep going with the process, then your K1 "expires" at that point and you'd need to start over.

They prefer that your case be interviewed within that four month "window". That date is used so that you keep moving forward. Just think if 50% decided not to adhere to that and then a month or two later bam all want to interview. Well the Embassy was empty for the month before and now it's over loaded. That is the simplistic explanation.

The NOA 2 can be extended up to a year by your Embassy but with good reason and the Embassy doesn't need to extend the NOA2 for the "one" year from expiration. The new extension, if approved, will be for an additional 4 months. Extensions are in the form of 4 month extension with each approval till you reach one year. If you need to go beyond a year then you must go to the end of the line and begin the process from 129f over again and pay the fees. You must provide a reason for the NOA 2 extension when requesting the extension from your Embassy.
