Awesome, trust me I get it. We're all on that same "need to know basis". My fiance and my approach is just to wait the standard 5-7 months for an approval. But from the start we agreed we wouldn't let the anxiety get the best of us. Now I'm not saying that has to be everyone's approach. But, we have faith in the process. They're understaffed and soon enough March cases will start getting approved (whether we know if we're through the background check or not).

But I guess we're looking at it from a standpoint of being sympathetic to all the cases before ours waiting to be approved. I personal don't feel a call will help unless you've hit that 210 day mark. That warrants a call to see what the hold up is. But on average 5-7 months is the normal processing time....Just our opinion and not trying to force it on anyone.

It is what it is , i just want to be with my fiance soon just like everyone else i dont know what the issue is . Goodluck to you and everyone else ☺️

A Helpful note to call USCIS....

Option 1:

Call USCIS(+1-800-375-5283). Do not press anything. Do not choose a language. If someone who picked up the phone cannot answer your question, ask them to transfer you to TIER 2.

Option 2:

Dial 1-866-953-7684

Option 3:

Call 1-800-375-5283

Press 1 to continue to english

Press 2 for case status

Press 1 if you know your receipt number.

Type your receipt number

Option 4:

Dial 1-800-375-5283 then press 1,2,2,4,2,1 then enter receipt number then press 1.

Received NOA1:  March 26

Filed in the past through an attorney (and cancelled later when she "washed out").  I wasn't impressed with what they did for what they charged, so I did it myself this time using the past case as a model and, of course, this website.  Hoping I wasn't foolishly over-confident.

The game, they say, is afoot...hoping she's here by Christmas!

Here is a sanitized copy of the NOA1 hard copy.

I don't know about any of this old date vs new date stuff, on both the old and new websites it says that my Noa1 date is Mar. 6.
