How do I find out when the Juarez consulate recieved my case from NVC? I'm waiting for an appointment currently.

Based on your case complete December, you will more than likely get an interview date sometime between June-October with how far behind they have been at Juarez.

In our case, we receive the CC (confirmation letter ) on  May 9, 2018, and we got our appointment date on  Dec 31st, 2018.

That makes approximately 7 months, 23 days from CC to get an appointment date.

We never know, it could take 3, 6, 7,  8 months.

Hope it will help to make your calculations :)

Regards,

Thanks we got cc in October hopefully we'll hear something soon 🙏🏼

Hello,

I was approved to expedite my case last week. As of today my nvc case status has changed to READY and and email was sent to me earlier this week from NVC stating that my case had been forwarded to CDJ.

Do I wait for an appnt? or schedule one myself?

All fees paid

DS260 and other documents done.

Please help.

how is everyone doing? I am so sorry the waiting keeps increasing :(

I had the bad luck of not having received my green card yet because it got sent to the wrong address,

five months in the U.S, I'm fighting to get it. Of course, this is an isolated case (just make sure you send the physical form as well as the online form if you move)

God is immigration frustrating. At least I'll get to relax for a year or so before removing conditions

Some of my friends locally here in Arizona that are going through the ROC said that once the paperwork is filed they send you a letter that says, "you have been granted an 18 month extension to live, renew DL, work, travel in/out of the US until they can find a way to get their &&^% together. "  This is much better than what the ROC people from a year or two ago went through where they didn't get the extension letters until they were out of status while waiting for the ROC.

it's so infuriating. I hope they can finally send me the green card since I haven't even gotten the first one, to begin with,

the whole ROC doesn't seem to work and it's just getting to be more complex, time-consuming and convoluted apparently, sigh.

Rkair- we went through the K1 process a number of years  ago.  Yes the letter seems like it takes forever.  I have traveled to Mexico City and other areas in Mexico and am not trying to bad mouth Mexico but the mail system is the worst.  When we filed a letter was sent to my wife and me (in the US).  I received the letter but my wife never received her copy.   I scanned the letter and emailed it to her which she used when she checked in for the interview.

On a side note I called the  consulate office in Ciudad Juarez a number of times and each time they said they would mail a new letter but that never came.

Many years ago I heard  about people that went to the information window at the consulate's office and was able to get the interview letter there.  Mind you that was a number of years ago and cannot say if that is still the  case.

God bless

My husband received his notification that all was received etc and we are awaiting to be scheduled. This was received back in the middle of August 2018. Our priority date is 06-MAY-13 but we are stilllllllll waiting. Planning ahead isn’t always easy when you don’t know when they’re going to send your spouse back.

it's up to 7-8 months now? it was 5-6 less than half a year ago, and 3-4 months before that.

Jesus Ciudad Juarez/USCIS, please get it together.

I hope so. When I called NVC today they could only confirm that they received our documents etc and could not give me a realistic time frame. I mentioned we had already been waiting for almost 6 months and she said it was normal. My lawyer did tell me it’s been taking up to six months, not past it. Praying for the best outcome.

Your lawyer is incorrect..  It is commonly taking 8-10 months from CC date to interview these days.

Take a look at this thread.

Jesus Ciudad Juarez/USCIS, please get it together.

Its getting to the point where it is easier for the USC to move to Mexico and spend a couple of years with their spouse LOL then file.
