CAN AN EXPIRED GREEN CARD BE USED TO FILE A, I-130?????? AND CAN I FILE AN I-130 AND N-400 AT THE SAME TIME?????  CHILD IS OVER 21

It takes around 7 years to bring a child over 21 here. You cannot file the I-130 with the N-400. The N-400 is to apply for citizenship but the person must first be a permanent resident.

I KNOW THEY aRE TWO DIFFERENT FORM, AND THEY WILL BE SENT TO DIFFERENT PLACES. BUT CAN I SEND THEM IN AT THE SAME TIME N-400 GOES TO DALLAS AND THE I-130 GOES TO CHICAGO?

Hi, you cannot use your expired green card to do none the green card must me valid

I guess that as long you can prove that an application to renew your green card has been filed, you are open to the possibility of filing I-130

 

Form I-130 instructions state:

"If you have not yet received your card, submit copies of your passport biographic page and the page showing admission as a lawful permanent resident, or other evidence of permanent resident status issued by USCIS or the former INS."
