Hey everyone! I forgot to update sooner. Package received on 23 Feb and received NOA1 texts and emails on the 7th! Just waiting on hard copies in mail and biometrics letter. Any idea how long biometrics letter takes, generally?

I wanted to know the answer to that question also. When you find out let us know!

I’d say generally within a week to 2 so don’t worry it’s coming

Question to everyone here. Does anyone of you know of getting a state issued license with the NOA?

In Texas, you must provide one of these:

  • U.S. passport that reads, “THE BEARER IS A UNITED STATES NATIONAL AND NOT A UNITED STATES CITIZEN” on the last page
  • Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551)
  • Foreign passport with attached temporary I-551 (immigrant visa endorsed with ADIT stamp)
  • Passport or I-94 stamped “Approved I-551”
  • Passport or I-94 stamped “Processed for I-551”
  • Permit to Reenter the United States (Form I-327)
  • I-94 or passport with annotation “Section 207” or “refugee with photo”
  • Refugee Travel Document (Form I-571)
  • I-688B coded 274a.12(a)(3)
  • I-766 with category A3 or A03
  • I-94 or passport with annotation “Section 208” or “asylee with photo”
  • I-688B coded 274a.12(a)(5)
  • I-766 with category A5 or A05
  • Refugee Travel Letter with photo, stamped by Customs and Border Protection

Not sure about other states.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

In Texas they seem a little more complex however you’re right every state is different, here in Florida (Orlando), generally wasn’t much of a issue.. it’s only granted for a year until green card is finished process

Okay I wrote it on Feb Filers thread but I will say it again as I am going to originally be a March Filer- well I called uscis today and I was told my NOA’s for i-485 and i-131 were sent to me last Saturday. Unfortunetely my ead was rejected, but the tier 2 oficer told me that they send it back as well with the letter explaining what was Missing and I will have to send it back to them. Wondering if they will still schedule my biometrics before I respond to that rejection or I will have to wait until they receive it. We will see in a couple days. Have a good one everybody that are still waiting. And if anyone is freaking out as me today I recommand calling uscis to clear your mind and take away all doubts, it will save you having a couple of grey hair ;)

Our package was received 3/2/18. We did not get any notfications yet. But today, our check has been cashed but no notifications yet. I called USCIS and told me that we wait at leas ta month and call again if we don't hear anything from them. Anybody in the same situation? Is this normal?

Ours was received 3/5/18. Seems they took our payments then a few days later (yesterday), we got our NOA's. So if they've cashed your check, you're fine.

Hello group!

And the waiting game starts anew. USCIS received our package on 3-12-18, haven't cashed the checks yet as of 3-16-18.

Hoping that the waiting is easier this time being together, it would be great if she gets AP by late June.
