I just checked USPS informed delivery and my EAD/AP combo card is due to arrive on Thursday! Overall it will take about 2 weeks from the approval date to receive the physical card, in my experience.

Hi. How do you know that it is due to arrive on Thursday? Does USPS informed delivery shows the future mails too?

Hi everyone,

I need your advice. My interview date is september 25th and i am trying to collect all the paperwork to bring with me to the interview.I read everywhere that i should bring a copy of i-485 and i-130 with me to the interview just in case. However, my lawyer keeps telling me that I dont need to bring any copies of those forms. She is refusing to give me the copies and I am just upset and nervaous about it.I dont understand why she is being so stubborn. Can you please enlighten me about this? do I still need to bring a copy of i-485 and i-130? is it a big problem if i dont?

I know and thats why I am upset because she wont do what I ask her to do! it is like she is sabotaging me! My question is, what do they mean when they say the originals and copies of the documents? they mean, for example, our marriage certificate or IDs that we submitted with our AOS package ?? or the whole i-485 form which is 18 pages and i-130 form which is 12 pages?

Did you make a copy of the whole 485 packet? hopefully you did.. You should take that, BUT also ORIGINALS of all your personal info, ie Marriage certificate, Birth certificate, DL, Passport,ANY divorce or death certificates...These are examples of what you need for your interview

If you have already completed your medical and submitted it when you did your K1 you should not have to re do your medical in the USA.

Hi Divya,

Did you receive your SSN along with EAD in the same mail or in the separate mail and after how many days after receiving EAD?

I wonder what you mean by that.

There are so many approved doctors to use on USCIS website so if one doctor is not available , try the next person on the list Look for one who is available. Most of them have  days in the week the work so call them one by one until you get one. You can get one to go for next week. Goodluck
