Hi Guys,

For those who have expedited (Most people on this thread? Haha - I don’t blame you)

How long did it take for your case to get assigned to an officer for response?

I’m just trying to figure out timing estimations etc.

Sucks that it takes so long to be able to go home when wanted/needed! Wish I done CR1 now! Oh well!

Anyway, my case currently states -

“ As of August 21, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1E*********MSC, is currently not assigned for processing. “

Quick question to you guys: I got my I-131 accepted and received I-797 notice acceptance of this petition about month ago. In the notice it was written that I will receive Travel Document in a seperate mail with the validity dates and travel conditions, although I didnt receive nothing since then. Today I read the notice one more time and indeed I found the validity dates on the notice. Now I am wondering if the notice I first received is my travel document or should I expect another notice. To make it clear- I got EAD accepted earlier and received Work Permit card but it has a notice that it is only valid for work not for travel (or sth

like that). I am not sure if I should call them about it or what, maybe the I-797 is the document that will allow me to go abroad and come back?

Update from me:

I just received notification from USCIS on my I-765 saying "On August 22 2018, we ordered your new card, and will mail it to the address you gave us". My case status for I-765 is now "New Card is Being Produced". They said it could take up to 30 days for me to receive it, is this realistic? For those that have received their combo card, how long did it take for you guys to receive yours?

On the Advanced Parole form (I-131) however, the status is still "We received your case" and hasn't been changed since the receipt date. Will my card be a combo card including both I-765 and 131?

We’re in the same shoe. My I-131 only was approved last month and I did receive the I-797 too but now it is day 35 and I haven’t received the actual travel document and I was wondering the same also if maybe the I-797 is also the travel document?

I haven't received mine yet, but yes - it seems like they always come together.  A few people from other months have had the same question and they've all received the 765/131 combo card.

It took mine about a week. Which is what most people are reporting too. 7-10 days, depends if you hit the weekend waiting or not also. For the combo card, I do not know how that works. I only applied for EAD, which I definitely regret not doing AP at the same time.

A question that has been asked a million times I’m sure - Once you have requested to expedite your case and the case history changes to “We have sent a response to your request” and then changes again to “request to have case expedited completed”

What should I expect next??? Will they mail me something to send in evidence? Or what? How does this work?

Thanks in advance!

After hearing nothing at all about my i-485 for 5 months since applying back in March... I just checked the dhs site and it says “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” since April 18, but they finally just updated my case today. I know it doesn’t mean much but I’m just glad to see something else other than “Case received”.

I was the same case - the 131 never updated, even after I received the card. It took a week to arrive, and it was a combo ard.
