That's perfectly normal
Be happy. Your local office is processing your case quickly
Wait for the interview letter and your interview most likely will be mid September!

Congrats on almost being near the finish line!

And FYI- interviews for GC and EAD are not related. if you get your GC before your EAD, then that means there's no value to the EAD since the GC serves as an EAD as well.

Hi, thank you so much for your answer.I just cant believe that my case is moving really fast after not hearing anything from february to august at all.And basically it changed from fingerprint fee was received to interview was scheduled in the last 3 days.I am just shocked...i hope everyone hears asap about their cases as well!

Today we received the NOA for our interview on 9-24-18.  The USCIS website and app still show "case is ready to be scheduled for interview".

Hey Guys,

I feel like since I’ve left home everything is falling apart :(

In April I was successful in getting emergency AP as my Gran was admitted to hospital and given weeks to live. I managed to get emergency AP by getting an info pass appointment at my local office (Detroit)

On Friday my uncle passed away. I called USCIS this morning so I could expedite my case based on the grounds of “family death”. The guy on the phone was really helpful, he gave me a case/reference number and said I’d here back within 10 days. He also said I will have to provide evidence. Has anyone else been in this kind of situation? Do you think I will hear back in 10 days or will it be longer? What should I expect now?

Yes I did. I waited 3 to 5 days for the card. They even sent me my SSN too

Hi everyone,

After 6 months of waiting, my online status changed from "Fingerprint Fee Was Received" to "Case is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" only 3 days ago. However, I just checked it and now it says "Interview Was Scheduled". Only after 3 days from " Case is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview", now they are telling me that they will mail me a letter for an interview. Is this normal? I still havent received my EAD and now it looks like i am gonna get my interview before my EAD card anyway.Do you think they made a mistake and accidentally updated my status? I might be paranoid but it doesnt seem normal to me that suddenly my case is moving so fast! Please share your experience with me....

Congratulations! Where is your local office?
