Hi I was on H1B until April 2018(used full 6 years) and then I filed AOS in March 2018( while my i94 was valid ) . When I asked my lawyer to expedite EAD he said I'm not eligible. What does that mean? My i485 status shows ready to schedule for interview since May 23, almost a month. Still no letter.

You could be waiting up to a year or more for the letter depending on your field offices processing times.

Your lawyer meant you have no basis on which you can expedite your EAD.

02/14/18 - Married

03/02/18 - AOS Sent

04/02/18 - Biometrics appointment @ Field Office

04/16/18 - Courtesy letter received re: Medical

07/17/18 - EAD card in production, AP approved

07/21/18  - Combo card in hand

10/18/18 - GC Interview  (Approved on the spot)

Are you working? Do you have a job? AOS family or employment based?

The website changed our status to "ready for interview" on 6-19-18 for I-485, no change in status for I-131 or I-765, both still say that it is been received. Does anyone know if they will be issuing a I-131 and how long that will be? and also how long it is to receive notification of when the interview is?

My wife would like to go home for a family celebration in mid July.

Once again USCIS is a frustrating organization :(

When my wife received her EAD 2 days ago, she noticed that it included the AP approval. The I-131 still has not changed online...lol.

2 days til my interview! I'm so nervous I can barely eat or sleep lol!

Trying to gather allllll the possible evidence so much so, I'm now stuck at home having run out of printer ink...

You have to relax. Don't show them that you are nervous or they may start suspecting you or worse, you start forgetting simple things.
