I had my green card interview yesterday. Approved on the spot.   Here is my timeline:

AOS from F1 (Student)

 

03/05/18 - AOS package Sent (I-485, I-130, I-756, I-131)

03/09/18 - AOS  Package Received

03/09/18 - Priority Date

03/20/18 - email/text NOAs Received

03/26/18 - NOAs received in mail

03/30/18 - Biometrics notice received in mail

04/09/18 - Biometrics Done

04/09/18 - Courtesy Letter for I-693 Received

04/16/18 - I-485 and I-765 UPDATE: We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case

04/18/18 - I-485 UPDATE: Case ready to be scheduled for an interview

 

04/30/18 - Requested to expedite EAD via phone

05/01/18 - UPDATE: Request assigned to an officer, response sent and request completed

05/03/18 - Called USCIS and the officer instructed me to fax evidence. Faxed evidence (Job offer) same day.

05/05/18 - Received USCIS letter asking me to fax evidence (Already done)

05/08/18 - I-765 UPDATE: Request assigned to an officer, response sent and request completed

05/08/18 - Received an email: Documentation received and request to expedite EAD under review

05/14/18 - I-765 UPDATE: We are producing your card (EAD) and will mail it to you

05/15/18 - I-765 and I-131 UPDATE:  We approved your case

05/17/18 - I-765 UPDATE: Card was mailed to me

05/18/18 - Received NOA for EAD & AP Approval

did they also send you a notification ,any update online or it was just a big surprise ?

It was just a big surprise!! We always got a "user-defined error" when we tried to check the case status online.

they accepted my ead!! Card is in production, just got an email! :) yeeeah! It took 20 days since I expedited!

02/13/2017- NoA1 hard copy (notice date 02/07, received date 02/03)

05/05/2017- NOA2 (hard copy received by mail 05/11, no e-notification)

05/25/2017- NVC number receiveD

06/19/2017- Embassy Interview: APPROVED!

06/26/2017- POE Boston

 

09/02/2017- we got married!

02/20/2018- AOS send via USPS

02/23/2018- AOS received 

03/14/2018- text and email notifications

03/13/2018- NOA notice date (i-485, i-131)

04/04/2018- biometrics appointment (I-485)

04/18/2018- case ready for scheduling Interview 

05/24/2018- EAD approved (expedited on 05/04)

06/01/2018- EAD delivered to me

07/30/2018- AP approved

08/01/2018- AP approval notice received in the mail

01/10/2019-  Interview- approved on the spot

01/17/2019- Green Card received by mail

 

ROC adventure

10/16/2020- I-751 packet sent to Phoenix,AZ

10/19/2020- delivered to AZ lockbox by USPS

11/02/2020- Notice date

11/4/2020- check cashed and text- SRC

11/10/2020- received NOA extension letter for 18 months 

12/16/2020- Case transferred to NBC

02/10/2021- New Card is Being Produced

02/24/2021- GC received in the mailbox :)

I am trying to find out my wife's I-131 status and request to expedite it. What number do you call for that and what is the process and requirements?

Hi guys its been a while i didn't post here work is making us busy now which a real bless . Anyway a quick update for today i just got my notice in the mail from the uscis that says that my interview is bieng scheduled for june 26 thank God so i hope the best for all of u guys

Hi :) Yes, lately it is normal, that status means pretty much that your case is forwarded to your local office and you most likely wont receive any RFE. Now the time that you have to wait for actual letter with Interview date depends on the processing time in your local office, you can go to uscis site and check the processing times there (I am having the same update as you since april but some folks already received their letters). Good luck!

by any chance is anyone filing in Nebraska or have any info on it? I filed March 19, did biometrics on April 13, and was so bummed yesterday to get an email saying no updates and that "we last took action on your case april 16."

 

meaning nothing has happened in the last 6 weeks. I was really hoping to get EAD/AP in 90 days, but looks like that's not going to happen.

Congrats to those of you getting interviews!! I'm very jealous!! :P

 

My status finally changed to Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview. It took more than a month after biometrics...
