Every second day. And no answer has been consistent other than there is no change. I have spoken with both 1st and 2nd tier officers and received different responses in regards to when I should expect an outcome that result from “we can not provide an answer to that as it’s done on a case by case basis, to call back if you haven’t heard by the 11th of May to Call back once it has been 30 days since the expedition was submitted. I have also had both my Congresswoman and N.Y. Senators office contact them as well.

it is fair to say I have boarded the wait train.

From what I read on this website and my personal experience, if you don't hear 2 weeks after faxing the supporting documents, then your request to expedite is not approved.

Here's the usual EAD expedite timeline:

Day 1: Request to expedite EAD via phone

Day 2-5: Receive an email or mail to fax documents
Day 4-7: Receive an email or email confirming document receipt

Day 12-15: Receive an EAD case approval

Day 19-22: Receive EAD card in hand

If it takes longer than the timeline above, then your case is headed to regular processing which takes up to 5 months lately.

NB: This is only my interpretation of other's experiences.

Interesting.. Even my local Congresswoman and NY Senators office have not had response from their submissions.

Pretty dissapointing.

Hi everyone!

Hope  everything is going well :)

Just heard that USCIS started a secure delivery service for EAD, greencard, so we would need to sign in person when we get those mails. We live in a condo building (we have a front desk concierge), and worried if I need to fill out the forms for designated recipients on behalf of me. Can you guys shed some lights on this?

https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-releases/uscis-begin-using-more-secure-mail-delivery-service

Read the press release - you can also opt for them to hold it at a Post Office of your choice.

Oh Wow. That is pretty disspointing. We will see what is going to happen. If I don’t receive email by the end of the week I will call them on next monday and see what they going to say, but I suspect I will hear the same as you.

Yes I can.

Completed Bio-metrics on the 11th of April 2018

I Expedited the I-765 (only the EAD) on the 16th of April 2018 via phone.

Received email on the 17th asking to fax through supporting documents and did so on the same day.

Heard absolutely nothing until today 8th May at 1:15pm stating card was in production

At 1:16pm on the 8th of May I successfully completed cartwheels around the backyard without injuring myself.

Sounds good! Haha I got you! I would do same thing, just knowing my luck I would probably make myself a little bit of injuries :D

Hey PattyandVern,

I'm also in the same boat as you. But my case history shows- your request to have your case expedited was completed - 04/02/2018. After that i faxed in the documents and haven't heard since. Its been over a month now, and I've been waiting every day since that my status will change to- card in production ! lol . All I can do is wait and hope its going to change soon.

Did you check on old tracker? egov.uscis.gov? I logger in, added my cases and than I clicked on i-765 and it showed me all updates when I scrolled down, although the status is still „biometrics completed”, I had to click on it to see the details and Thats when I saw it.

After the fingerprinting at USCIS office on-site, about how many days, does AOS status (I-485, I-765,I-131) get changed online and will the status become something like “biometrics approved”? Highly appreciate your recent experience.

BTW I had is at USCIS Oakland CA office.
