Hi guys ! I'm in a similar scenario. Had my expedited request for EAD sent on 03/31/18. Then faxed over evidence/proof on 04/6/18. Since then I haven't heard anything from USCIS. It's been close to a month now.

Any suggestions ?

I’m in the same position. And the tier 2 operators are miserable and not very helpful.

I just expedited my EAD too, to give you an idea of the timeline I called to request the expedite on April 18th, got an email requesting more evidence the next day (April 19th) and submitted the evidence on April 20th.

I heard nothing until today when I got an update to say my card is in production! :D

Hi Joulesrc,

May I ask how you requested expedition? Did you call Tier 2 officer on the phone?

Thank you!

Hi, I called the USCIS number for military members/family members. Although if you want to request an expedite I believe you only have to call the regular USCIS line.

What evidence do they ask to submit please? Will they take a letter from an employer or does the employer have to send their payroll information and stuff like that to show you really have a job?

Hi, my reason for expedite was not employment related it’s actually an unusual situation to do with my military access card to the base I live on and not having an SSN. I submitted a letter from myself explaining the situation and a letter from military officials and my husbands military orders as proof. Sorry I realise that’s not very helpful!

From what I’ve read from other users, a letter from the prospective employer is usually the evidence that is submitted for an employment related expedite. You are not allowed to work before you have work authorization so I guess proof of payroll etc is not accepted.

For those with no update online. I decided to create a USCIS account on https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant. My cases show different wording and more information there.

Right now it says ¨We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case" there, rather than still showing "Fingerprint fee was received".

It also says that it was last updated on April 18th, right after my biometrics appointment, whereas on My Cases it says it was last updated on April 7th.

Hope that helps.

hi! I don't have an account on their website and I left those kinda questions blank in all the forms. And i'm kinda scared/worried about creating it now. Won't it do me anything bad?

I made them right after I sent the packet too. You should go ahead and make an account!! I highly doubt it would hurt!

Hi everyone!

Hope  everything is going well :)

Just heard that USCIS started a secure delivery service for EAD, greencard, so we would need to sign in person when we get those mails. We live in a condo building (we have a front desk concierge), and worried if I need to fill out the forms for designated recipients on behalf of me. Can you guys shed some lights on this?

I have a question for those who expedite their EAD. After you sent documents to uscis by fax have you received any confirmation/notification from them that they received it? And if so, how long was it after you sent it? I just sent mine last friday and I am wondering if they received it as there was No confirmation, wondering if I should call them in couple days or this is just normal procedure that they do not notify us at all until the IO will take care of the paperwork. I will appreciate the answers.
