For those with no update online. I decided to create a USCIS account on https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant. My cases show different wording and more information there.

Right now it says ¨We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case" there, rather than still showing "Fingerprint fee was received".

It also says that it was last updated on April 18th, right after my biometrics appointment, whereas on My Cases it says it was last updated on April 7th.

Hope that helps.

Wow, me too. Smh. I wonder what the hold up is?

Well, mine just changed that last week from received to case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. So it is nothing special that they don’t update the system.

My status changed to card in production on 24, then changed to mailed on 27, but was physically shipped on Monday. Received it yesterday 😊 now hoping for them to schedule the interview but that will probably be the longest wait here in Houston.

Thank you! Yes, I would say beginning of next week. Sign up for USPS informed delivery. They will send you a message once they receive the pre-shipment info from Uscis.

Guys,
I am about to start filing for AOS and wanted to ask:

My fiance and I are getting married in a church. Do people know/have experience with using their church marriage certificate to file?
Or does USCIS only take something from the courts?

Thanks!

It doesn't matter if you will get married in the court or church. The officiant or it's office will file or register the marriage ( marriage license you acquired from the city hall before getting married either in church or court etc) to the city hall after the wedding. Then you will request a certified true copy of your marriage certificate FROM THE CITY HALL Marriage Registry or whatever they call the department.  Then submit it as a requirement to your AOS.
