Going on 3 weeks now since biometrics and still no fingerprint review completed, interestingly.  It's taken most people here about a week after their appointment, huh?   Hoping it comes through soon as my husband is hoping for job offers in the near future (and expedition of the EAD, fingers crossed!).

Wow, me too. Smh. I wonder what the hold up is?

It's been 2 weeks for me. I was starting to think maybe they had just forgotten to update the website, but I guess they're just taking longer. We will see!

Have you had any other status change since your biometrics appointment?

It went to Ready to Schedule Interview a few weeks later. But my office is just over a year behind so I won't expect an interview until next February. lol

@pajobra

so did you ever get your ead even though biometrics never updates?

thank you:)

Nope Still no EAD but its not 5 months since filing for me for a few weeks. I just figure things will come when they come and not a moment sooner. After doing K-1 fiance last year I have learnt the art of patience. lol

Oh wow. I thought the ability to work stuff (EAD) was one of the first things to come through within an average of about three months.

I’ll wander around the forum from the month before ours to see when people got their paperwork to start working

thank you

It used to be but it seems to be further behind. Some still get it then but average now seems to be 5-7 months for EAD/AP.

My wife is here on a K1 visa with a pending AOS, EAD, and AP. We acquired her SSC immediately after the wedding using our marriage certificate and her passport. Her SSC has her married name on it..

that's great for you! most offices don't because they have to run the applicant name in SAVE program.

Don’t stress about the update. I called following up an expedited application and they told me they had received my biometrics on the same day I completed them, however they are not updated on the online system.

That gives me a bit of comfort to read that and I really hope that’s the same for me too. I did my biometrics on April 10 and still no update online. I guess not every step is updated on their website

I did mine in April 11. You can call and ask them if they have received them.
