Hey March filers. I came on a k1 visa and my husband and I mailed our AOS off 29th March , recieved on 30th march  (good Friday). I'm now waiting for something! 

What's the average wait to get some sort of acknowledgment? We used the card payment form for this. 

I'm also in April filers group but thought I'd ask here as there are more people in this one.

You should be alright, I think. I mean, they got the letters, it is just in different colour  I don’t think nobody will make a big deal about it.

Don’t worry, my status didn’t change either. The best is just to forget about it and just wait for the mail to come... otherway you will gain some gray hair, believe me. Trackers are not accurate anyway.

Hi! Another fellow Feb K1 filer  so, You should hear sth from them within 2 weeks, but after 10 days since they received papers you are allowed to call uscis and ask about your case. It is hard to say average as some people were waiting a week while some (as me) almost a month for a notification.

Here some ideas,

• like reading? Library maybe
• netflix series?
• house project? Is there anything that needs arrangement? to be replaced? 
• Do you know your neighborhood well? 
• Document your VJ so it can help others...blog maybe?
• Do you plan to go back to school? if so, do you know your options in the area?
• Do you plan to bring family members for visitation? If so, why not start looking at their documentation and proofs?

 

Be positive, you paper work will be processed very soon, im sure.

So I can call them. My husband is the United States citizen.

I was going to wait to til Friday coming to see. Then it would have been 2 werks since they recieved it. Nothing has been cashed yet. And no texts or emails. But I know it got signed for as we paid for tracking and signature on delivery. Thank you!

Quick update guys i got email on aril 8 saying that my biometrics review is done whish i had them in april the 3 . Another thing that i wanna mention it could help i called uscis yesterday to expedite my EAD and based on financial lost and pending job offer that i have . Today i recieved email from them saying that they are waiting proofs of job offer letter to fax it  to them to the number in the email which im sending them tomorrow . Just to remind my application was recieved march 6 . I wish the best of luch to all of us cuz we are realy sick of bieng stuck in a house .

I live on a road, basically.. so there's literally no neighborhood lol I'm watching tons of netflix shows and that has helped me!

 

i don't plan on going back to school but I plan on start working as soon as I get my EAD, so I spend nost of my days job searching and even sending resume. It helps too!

 

hope your process is fast too!!

How quickly is the biometric done?

Its so easy less than 10 min they only take your fingerprint and a picture of you thats it . I hope yours gets quicly as well

Thats great! Keep us updated about your expedite as I am planning to do the same, I got job offer starting June 14 so I am planning to expedite as soon as I get a contract.

My other case tracker finally updated with the response for RFE received.  Slowly getting there. Feel I'm gonna get a second RFE though for some reason.
