So, I need an advice.

Received an RFE in February, sent the response back in March and my case got trasfer to the NBC 20 days ago.

I havent filed for citizenship.

do you think I should wait or should I do it?

i am leaving the country in december for Christmas...I am concern that I won’t have the green card on hand for that trip, and I would prefer have that than the extension letter.

But I would like to have your thoughts! Thank you!!

If your case is transferred to NBC, it is “most likely” that you will be scheduled for an interview.  I think we discussed this a few days ago. NBC does not adjudicate most forms, I-751 included.  NBC is more like an administrative support office for field offices and five other service centers.

You should plan ahead with your travel; life as usual.  By Thanksgiving, you may or may not be scheduled for an interview, it all depends on how backlog your office is. I-751 interviews are very low in pecking order.  This is because you are considered a permanent resident unless the interview decision comes out otherwise.  USCIS views it as that you are not being deprived of any rights as a permanent resident while your case remains pending.   You can still work and travel as usual.

I've been having the same concern as you. My husband filed the N-400 on Feb. 26 then we got a transfer notice about a week later. I assumed it was because of the N-400 but it was sent to Nebraska with a large batch of I-751s. I wasn't too worried but Detroit filers from about 3 weeks before us are starting to get their interview notices. I would rather have a combo interview than have the N-400 interview delayed. I too have thought about calling to see if it can be transferred!

Please update if you get any new information and I will as well.

Will do!!

EAC181055 is a March filer.  March 2018 sequences goes to about EAC181265

It’s EAC181055 card mailed April 15th,  there are two with the same sequence saying “card was mailed” on the same date, and one person got an RFE on April 11th.

The app expires within 30 days so unless you logged in and made an actual change or addition to the application within 30 days, all the work is lost. I'm not sure if this is what you both experienced or if it's just a technical error.

I was very accurate about my timeline and I was allowed to change it till the 22nd of May. Definitely a technical error; i'm wondering if I can call them ?
