BU as in Boston University?

That is where I am going to school part time.

If you file I-751, you are a permanent resident.  You first file FAFSA online and that validates the status automatically with Department of Homeland Security (though the same system DMV uses when you apply for a driver’s license).  I was not even asked for a copy of my green card.  My social security and green card numbers were verified that I am an LPR.

Yes- Boston University - school of medicine.

Thank you so much for explaining the process. This is great. I felt the financial aid staff was kind of the gatekeeper.  I am going to contact her again.

01/31/2015 : 129F sent

You don't need the financial aid staff. Just file online at https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa and make sure to use the school code, that is sent to the school which verifies your physical document later.

Was your case in Vermont Service Center?  I don't think it has been transferred anywhere based on your filing date.

In the past, I used to be able to access my travel history in and out of the United States through CBP Official Public Information Website (see link below).

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search

This information is used to fill out the travel history section on Form N-400 (Naturalization Application).  The last time I accessed it in July 2018 and I saved my history fortunately.  As of today, it does not show it any more.  It says, "no records found."  Has anyone used it before, and if so, are you experiencing the same error message?

I also tried it's not working.

Thank you @New Yorker 82.  I contacted CBP and was told that US LPR and US Citizens must file a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request to obtain our own travel records that CBP has.

You can still get that information if you use the passport number from your home country. You do not need to file FOIA.

@Ak2010 - No, you can no longer do that.  That is what we have been discussing here.  Three people so far, myself included, have tried.  It no longer shows your history for LPR and USC.

Received today the letter stating that my case has been transferred to Lee Summit, MO.

I haven't applied for citizenship, yet though.

Anybody with a similar situation without having applied for citizenship?

Thanks!

Two people from different months I have been in touch have had their cases transferred to NBC without filing for N-400.

One told me she later gets an interview scheduled, one said he has not heard anything yet after the transfer notice.

Thank you for answering!

I am still not sure if I should apply for citizenship or wait. Such a hit or miss.
