We rent together, we've been in two places and were both on the leases. Sent them both

@kirkn09 that’s ridiculous. Maybe you can call and talk to someone and get more details. Sounds like what you sent in is sufficient. Having children doesn’t mean you’re still with someone. Ughh annoying sorry you have to go through that.

@kirkn09 - the one question I need to ask is, does your evidence cover at least the period of at least two years while you (or your spouse) has been a conditional resident?

Received a RFE today. This makes me pretty mad. They said limited in scope, we submitted health insurance, life insurance, 401k, lease agreement with both names, joint bank account, joint tax returns and photographs.

They said they want further evidence such as children or a mortgage or power of the attorney for property or health.

What the absolute F***. I just turned 30 and do NOT want kids or own a house right now. Unless we make a will for her to take on my student loans I have no idea what they want.

What do you do when you've sent everything and what they're asking for is not reasonable?

The only thing I could reasonably do is an affidavit...

@kirkn09 I would do the affidavits, those should be easy enough. Also, you can do a power of attorney and will on the internet, it should not be too complicated either. Keep us updated.

@kirkn09 - then I would suggest to whip up the power of attorney for healthcare decisions and last will.  Google LegalZoom or LegalDepot, one of those kinds.  You can do them yourself and get them notarized.

Whoever this officer is, she/he is a tough one but she/he is trying to approve your case without interview.  So give him/her a few more things so she/he could hang the hat on

@kirkn09  If you don't want to do the will, you can send a note explaining why you don't have one/don't need one.

We submitted same documents as you (April 2018 filer). No kids / no mortgage / renting with both names on lease.

Our lawyer checklist included adding affidavit from friend / family but we did not get chance to work on it and end up skipping it.

Now i'm worried if we might end up getting RFE too. 😭

That's kind of ridiculous.  We don't have kids either and submitted pretty much the same stuff except maybe even weaker evidence (we don't have joint health insurance, life insurance, or 401k as we're both young and one of us is still a student).  Haven't heard anything on our case - last update was May 2018 about our biometrics.  Just applied for N400 today so hopefully that will speed things up - have you already applied for citizenship?

So, I called USCIS today and my case has been transferred to Dallas Field office. Most applicants that applied same day as myself at CSC have got their approvals.

My guess is that, Since I applied for N400 (Dallas) in February, 2019. The adjudicator pulled my i-751, saw my N400 and decided to send my i-751 to the same field office for both to be adjudicated same time.

These are mere speculations of mine. Kindly let me know if anyone here has similar experience.

STAGE 4: Removal of Conditions

03/19/18: I-751 mailed - Vermont Service Center

03/22/18: I-751 delivered to Vermont Service Center

03/23/18: Check Cashed

05/29/2018: Biometrics

03/19/2019 : Transferred to Dallas Field Office

Naturalization

02/27/19: N-400 Filed Online

02/27/19: NOA1

03/05/19: Biometrics
