Lots of cases from Vermont that filed around the same time as we did have be transferred.  I would guess it’s a good thing, at least there has been some movement.  

Based on others are saying on the thread they are being moved to a center with less backlog.

I think it's good. It seems like when this happens, things start moving quickly. I think when we filed (march 2018) CSC was backlogged and now they've basically caught up because they transferred a lot of cases.

My fellow March filers, I've been obsessively checking my case tracker App and this just showed up! 9 days after my daughter had her biometrics appointment.

Mine was submitted to CSC as well. Until now, I can’t even enter my case number online or on the app to check the status of my application; it says invalid. I’ll check it again later.

Hi all,

 

Received another notification that my case was transferred so I checked the new website instead of the old and it says that my case was “received at my local office” - still waiting to get the snail mail to verify where it went, but sounds like it might not be Texas?

I am planning to visit Mexico in couple weeks with expired green card and I-797 NOA extending the GC by 18 months. Does anyone see a problem? Should I get an infopass to stamp I-551 instead?

Yes, but I only filed in January and NYC is taking around a year to complete citizenship applications.
