Looking for some advice.  I know it’s a long time off, but my husband’s Trinidadian passport expires right around the middle of March 2019.  This is just about the time we may get called for an interview or get an approval.  How big of a deal will an expired passport be?  I don’t think we can get it renews until it’s expired.  And, because we are in the US, it will take 3 to 4 months to get a new one. Trying to figure out a way to handle this seamlessly.

not a big deal. you could do it through trinidad high commission here. since he is legally here through you they might ask for GC + extension letter as a  proof of legal status and renew it.

Thank you!  Do you have any idea how far in advance you can renew before it expires?  My fear is that if we have to do a renewal after the expiry date we won’t have a valid passport for our interview in March.  His passport also expires in March.

Hello everyone, I just sent I-751 with a signature request from them when they get the package. I was wonder if somebody else sent it like this? I'm worried now that nobody is going to sign because it is a P.O.Box address and the package will return to me. Thank you for your answers.
