Hi Folks,

We submitted our I-751 to the CSC last week and it was signed for 'as received' on March 2, 2018.  Here's a few pics of what we submitted which fit perfectly into a USPS medium flat rate priority box.  We learned a great deal from this website over the years since we started the K1 process and the I-751 preparation was made a lot easier with the help of many people here at VisaJourney!

Thanks,

Good luck to everyone, not sure who has gone back and looked at previous months' threads just to get an idea of a timeline. VSC seems to be moving along well but the CSC is backed up on biometrics. I checked back to October and seems only half of them have gotten biometrics letters so far, the rest are still waiting...

I have also been looking at the previous months, but not as far back as you. Apparently no one from CSC in the January thread got their bio yet. At this point, unless something changes, all the CSC filers are looking at a long wait (over a year).

We will be keeping each other company for over a year it seems.

Can I join the March 2018 bandwagon? We sent off our packet yesterday and should arrive at CSC on Thursday of this week.

Here's hoping all of us have a smooth and painless process.

Yup, I just looked back through past threads to see how far of a wait it will be... Jan and Feb 2017 still 0% approved at the CSC, Nov and Dev 2016 still 0% approved at the CSC, Oct 2016, 6% approved,  Sept 2016 56% approved. So looks like it's about an 18-month process at the CSC right now. Lots of people had to get 1 or 2 extensions on their GC from their local office and many people filing for naturalization concurrently. Should be an interesting ride. If you are eligible, filing concurrently would prolly be your best bet to push it all through at the same time, removal of conditions and naturalization getting approved together.

I have been thinking 18 months also, and I have already been thinking about filling for naturalization in a year. It may speed things up. We will see if things changes as we wait.

ETA: I just saw an update that someone from CSC got approved in 7 months (July 2017 filler)!!! There is hope for us after all.

Here's hoping all of us have a smooth and painless process.

Good luck to you guys! hopefully, the wait is painless and fast
