I wouldn't worry too much about that. No one from January and February who filed at CSC even got their appointments yet! Looks like we won't be getting one for a long time (if at all). :) Apparently all the people who made inquiries received some generic letter stating that they may not even get an appointment. 

 

If I look at the December filers, a many people have not received their appointments yet (of course only the CSC filers).

Hmm so the letters today weren’t biometrics? I see one post that said they received one today - Sorry I’m just confused, haven’t been following this thread as closely.

Yes they are, but all from VSC. Nothing for CSC since December.

No, I signed up for USPS Informed Delivery which emails you photos of mail you have arriving every morning.

Wondering if it’s typical for them to send you to another state for your biometrics.  We live in CT, but they set the appointment in NY. We actually live closer to NY than Hartford, so I get it.  But I’m mostly wondering if our final decision will be in NY as well.  Apparently,  there is a USCIS office in Westchester NY, Portchester area nonetheless.   Eye raising to me because it’s Westchester’s largest Hispanic community.

I797 NOA says the received date is 3/7 and the notice date is 3/16. I don't know what day they came in the actual mail.

Appointment is May 7th.

We received our biometrics letter today on 4/27. Dated for 4/20/2018.

 

Our appointment is scheduled for 5/11/2018 HOWEVER - this is the one week for the whole year we will be out of town. :(

 

There is a box at the bottom that says please reschedule my appointment. Is it best to just select reschedule? Do we cancel our trip? I don't want this to cause a major set back in the process :(

 

Any recommendations or is there any other way around this? Our office is in Charlotte, NC - thanks!
