Hi Everyone....sorry if this has already been answered but my 90 days window to submit the ROC for my husband is coming up on Friday. If we were to date the form Thursday's date and FedEx over night it for Friday delivery, is that okay? Or does it have to be dated with Friday's date with Monday deliver for them to accept it as received within the 90 days? I appreciate your response. Good luck to everyone! i'm reading that it's a loooong wait but at least our spouse is with us during this wait.

If you just have to be in the window and it'll be sent back if you send too early, why not just wait a little while?  You could wait 2 months and it's not going to change anything.

I think you should wait to get your biometrics done and then leave the country.

Does anyone know how long it is currently taking from NOA to biometrics appointment for VSC? We are booking a trip to the UK to see family this summer and we don't want to have the appointment come up at the same time.

Anything anyone say would be a guess at this point. It might take another month, or 2 or 3 more. I've seem people submitted in Dec not getting bio yet (CSC),  but VSC is faster. Make sure you are willing to cut your trip short if needs be. Good luck!

LinJoe,

If I were you I would wait till start of next week and send it via USPS flat rate priority. I went to fedex and they clearly told me that they don't ship to PO. Box.

The reason am saying to send it next week is because is to avoid that situation they come back and say you sent it early and cancel the whole thing for you.

so again if the 90 day period starts this friday meaning tommorow the 6th. then best send it next week.

long wait will still be there but you will get NOA soon which is good for one year anywy's

Tatia, as Torres said if you are filing at the Vermont Service Center than I will wait because iam a Vermont filer and I filed on February 12th, they received it on the 14th got my NOA letter on the 24th. Got my biometrics letter on the 26th of March and my biometrics were done April 05. If you are filing at the California Center than don’t wait go ahead and take a trip.

If you look any California filers from January hasn’t received their biometrics appointment letter yet, and Vermont filer has all received it even February they all received it :)

good luck

Hey folks,

Just wanted to give you an update that I renewed my driver's licence today using the extension letter and my greencard (which will expire on May) without any problem! They renewed it for one year. I printed out the following PDF file from USCIS website and took it with me just in case...but I didn't need to show it...

I live in Nebraska ...Hopefully the DMVs are as smooth in other states...

Case has been at Vermont since 17th, still no NOA1 or cashed check. Looks like people around my date and after already received theirs. I'm honestly starting to worry..

USCIS has always been pretty friendly when I've called.  I doubt you have much to worry about, but maybe calling just to check in could ease your mind.

I would start to worry about 30 days after they have received it. Then, I would call them.
