I don't think the G-1145 works for ROC. I signed up for Informed Delivery with USPS, got an email the morning it was to be delivered. I don't think there's any other way to know it's coming. You can also guesstimate when it will arrive by knowing when your check cleared the bank

people seem to know about it before they receive it on the spreadsheet.. I thought the same thing but included one just incase.. hopefully I hear something soon !

Just received our NOA1 today! (Our petition arrived at VSC on 3/5.) One problem though...my husband's last name is spelled wrong on it  I'll be giving them a call tomorrow to hopefully have it corrected.

In case anyone was following this...thought I doubt it lol...after we called to have it corrected and they refused to send us a new NOA1, we just got a new NOA1 in the mail yesterday with his name fixed.  The format and wording on it is different than the first so I was skeptical when I first saw it. They had told us to use the biometrics letter as proof of his correct name when they refused to send the new notice (or we could pay over $400 to file some form to fix it). In any case, I’m glad to have it. The new notice date is 3/27/18 but the receipt date stayed 3/6.

One thing that bothers me though is his second first name isn’t capitalized now. Anyone think we should call to fix this now too?

You can certainly call and ask them. It seems that getting through them is dependent on who you talk to. Glad they sent you a new one anyway (even thought they made another mistake).

Hi Everyone....sorry if this has already been answered but my 90 days window to submit the ROC for my husband is coming up on Friday. If we were to date the form Thursday's date and FedEx over night it for Friday delivery, is that okay? Or does it have to be dated with Friday's date with Monday deliver for them to accept it as received within the 90 days? I appreciate your response. Good luck to everyone! i'm reading that it's a loooong wait but at least our spouse is with us during this wait.

It has to be received within the 90 day window. Your best bet is to ship to arrive Monday or Tuesday. Since this is going to a POBox, you won't be able to use FedEx. USPS is your only option.

Good luck!

That's a technicality that I don't know the answer to. Why not date if Friday and ship Friday? Or even Saturday?

If you kept the receipt from the bottom of the money order you can call the number on the back and it will say when it was cashed.

I called USCIS and they aren't able to give me any information without my NOA and the application number.... only one that I have is from my green card IOE but that doesn't work apparently......
