Has anyone from this group gotten an INFOPASS?

I wanted to take a short trip outside the country end of November. My 18-month extension is at term Nov 6, from 05/2018 for gc expiration, but I get this reply when I try to setup an infopass to get a stamps.

About scheduling an appointment:

After a review of your inquiry, we have determined that your request does not meet the criteria for an INFOPASS appointment at this time. Your inquiry can be addressed by the tools and resources available at www.uscis.gov/tools

Not sure if I should go on vacation now.

Hello,

I was able to schedule an INFOPASS over the phone. My case was approved and I got my new Permanent Resident card 4 days after approval notice so I cancelled the INFOPASS appointment. I would give them a call and try to schedule it over the phone, they will get your information and give you a call back within 2 days.

That's what I did the first time. The rep was not vert helpful but hopefully this does the trick. My understanding that you can schedule an infopass about 30 days from you expired letter.

You can call to schedule an infopass to get stamp on the passport 30 days before The end of 18 months extension from your green card expired. I just got stamp a month ago and my green card expired on Nov5.

Hello guys,

Anybody still waiting for I751 approval or it s just me waiting? I feel all alone and sad here...😌 no more posts, no more approvals... It s been 20 months for me and still no news from USCIS. I sent my I751 application to CSC exactly 20 months and 2 days ago and I didn’t apply for N400 . Anybody in the same situation? If yes let s just start another group to keep each other encouraged, that would be so nice. Thanks guys!

Gosh, that's a long time @Hopegrace. Sorry, that's really crappy. Does it mean your extension letter has expired? Have you called USCIS?

I'm not in the same situation as you but I came close to the end of my 18-month extension before I got my approval (after sending in my RFE). Anyway, I thought I'd respond to your post... Hope you hear some good news very soon!

What a mess, so sorry to hear that! I would apply for N400 at this point, turning this horrible  wait to your advantage. Also, maybe it would trigger your I751 to get approved? In any case, I wish you to get approved by the end of next week!

I’m March 18 filer just got the REF. They ask for some of them that I already sent like affidavit, bank statement, life insurance. I’m confuse.

Hey there, we are still waiting as well. We responded to our RFE back in May and our file was transferred to the National Benefits Center in August. We've been waiting for 20 months exactly, as of today. We're going to enjoy the holidays together, then file for citizenship if we still haven't heard anything by January. Good luck to you and your partner, I hope we all get this resolved soon.

Thanks for replying guys. Looks like a lot of us are still waiting. Have you guys filed N400? I haven’t that s what makes it so frustrating. Most people who are waiting are the one who filed for N400. No RFE for me, no updates and nada since doing fingerprints back in July. I can’t even check my status online . I get a message that says “ case not available online , call the 1800 number” i had to stamp my passport because my extension is expiring on Dec 16 th. I think they probably lost my file and they re not telling me. At this point i wouldn’t mind an RFE that would mean my case is still alive. I don’t wanna lose hope but I don’t see any lights at the end of this tunnel.... well , since faith comes by not what we see but by what we hope for , im still hoping 😊. Thanks guys!

@Lanala I don’t wanna file N400 at this point because where i live it takes 17 months to finalize N400 . Im already 20 months into I751 I don’t wanna add another 17 months to it. Too much problems when traveling. Unfortunately ill have to wait for my i751 then apply for N400. Im just praying everyday for a miracle because it seems they have forgotten about me😌

@Hopegrace You are not the only one in this. It's just kills the spirit a bit to see so many approvals while you hear nothing.  I filed N-400 and the day of my interview I got a call that he has to reschedule because my ROC was not yet received at the local office. So now, it's just a waiting game all over again. I did get a stamp last week for a trip to Jamaica, but it sucks pulling out a piece of paper and having to explain things. Hopefully we hear some news soon.

@neoblast, thanks for replying. The wait is very frustrating. They increased the processing time again today from 21.5 months to 22.5 months for CSC. It s been 20 months for me and no updates whatsoever. I never filed for N400 and sincerely I don’t think it would help at this point ( 19.5 months to process). I fid contact my congressman, i hope he helps. By the way, i think we are from the same country based on the flag picture on the right. Comment ca va? 😀

I attended my Naturalization ceremony yesterday. Needless to say, I am very happy to be over with this immigration process. I know the wait is long, but it is totally worth it once it comes to an end.

Hang in there, and may all your cases be completed quickly
