Hi. Where did you file. I filed in a California. It is 16 months no RFE, no interview just waiting. Hope i get it by the 19 months which is October

one month before the expiry date call USCIS customer care and tell them you're extension letter is expiring.

the rep will give you a reference number.

within next 24-72 hours you will get call from officer who will check your expiry and setup appointment at your local office for an I551 stamping.

no need to freak out.

Thank you for the useful information. Much appreciated. Hope I get my 10 year card before that.

Hi everyone,

My husband received RFE on 6/20 for more proof on marriage. Sent all the information to them and they received it on 7/10. He received his approval on 7/20. the website was not showing the information, since it was down, but he filed for citizenship and it is showing on the app that his card was produced on 7/20 :) Good luck everyone.

By the way, he has an estimated end date on his Naturalization of 3 months (biometrics already completed)

Hi, do you mind sharing what documents you sent back to them and did they need more evidence of financial commingling? Thanks! I’m in the same boat and I’m preparing my documents to send back to them.

Sure,

I sent 2016-2018 Taxes, showing we filed together. A copy of both our driver's license showing that we live at the same address. We recently opened a joint bank account, so I sent that with our names on it and an explanation on our finances at the time.

Information from my Job to show my next of kin and my beneficiary (which is him).

Copy of our insurance cards.

Copy of our lease, and an affidavit from our Landlord

Copy of our car insurance policy, showing both cars are under the same policy.

The letter I sent was basically our cover letter and details on why certain information is missing

Just try to provide as much information as possible, and if there are any holes in that information, try to provide an explanation in a letter. Just to kind of give them an insight on your union.

Just when I think that I am getting closer to the maximum processing time in California it increases to 20 months. So so frustrating.

Well, end of July will be 16 months for me.. since they received my RFE 2 weeks ago, I want to stop checking my account 10 times a day and move on. I am going to mentally prepare myself getting passport stamp. It is beyond frustrating.

I havent been posting here a lot, however, just wanted to let you guys know that as of yesterday, my new card is being produced!

I was at first in Vermont Center, then sometime in March my case was moved to Texas. I have applied for ROC with divorce waiver. No RFE, no interview. It took a while, but I am happy its all over.

Thank you all for all the updates - its always easier and not as stressful knowing other people updates or timelines. Good luck to everyone and keeping my fingers crossed to those, who are still waiting!

BTW - I was also moving twice during my ROC processing :)

Over a year ago I received a notice saying they don’t need my biometrics. But two weeks ago I got another notice saying I have a scheduled appointment to have my biometrics done. I did them yesterday and my case changed today to “fingerprints review was completed” . Anyone had the same experience? How long will it take to hear something?

Thanks in advance ✌🏻

Thank you for replying and sharing your timeline. That’s crazy! Many filers already got their GC and we are still waiting. What service did you file with? Mine is CSC

Mine is CSC as well... No idea in what order they process the cases,...Based on Nationality ?, Alphabetical order ?? or God knows  ... its is indeed frustrating.

My case was from March of 2018 and it got approved after 16 months. Yours is 'only' 13 months now - I know its frustrating to wait, but stressing over it will not help. I honestly was barely checking my status online. So it was not frustrating me too much lol.
