Hey guys! Just an update. I received my 10 year GC today.  The day after i received the I-797 Notice of Approval. Just want to share.  I filed on March 9, 2018 at CSC. NO, RFE, NO INTERVIEW.

I got the RFE mail and it is same - they need more evidence of marriage.  

The letter mentioned that the tax returns I sent were not an evidence that it has been filed with IRS 😲.  I used a tax software and printed after the taxes were filed.  

Do you all have similar query regarding tax returns?  

Any thoughts on what to send for tax returns that indicate it has been filed with IRS?  I can get tax transcript (from IRS site), email acknowledgement and bank statement where tax returns were credited.

I would obtain a "Return Transcript" from the IRS.  A transcript is proof of what was actually received by the IRS.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

No, mine was just general, info about kids if any, utility bill, mutual assets copy. Nothing specific about taxes, just asking for most recent ones.

We could have been approved just like all the normal filers here. But for whatever reason we are part of this bureaucratic nightmare. I don’t believe a second that my file had less evidence than those who were approved within normal time frame.

Sadly I think you're right.  

When I filed for my original AOS we got an RFE and were totally lost as to what could possibly be missing. They told us that we had submitted an old version of the form. We checked our scanned copy of the submitted form and it was the same one that was currently on the website. We re-printed it, copied the info back in and sent it back and it was approved. It's so silly it's laughable.  

We were also among the batch who had biometrics waived (got 3 letters to say this) and then had bio's scheduled earlier this month.  The system is a mess.

Finally something!  Wow, kinda frustrating though!  Hopefully they will get you an appointment soon so you can be done with this stage and move on

Congrats!!! How long did it take from the day it change to card being produced? Or did it say picked up by ups or something?
