As promised, here I am updating you after my interview.

It went very smoothly. We got approved on the spot. The officer was very nice and funny as well. Very relaxed atmosphere in the office.

The officer just went through our I-765 application asking us to confirm the full name, DOB and SSN. She asked my husband the date of our marriage and then she went on talking about the pictures I submitted, she enjoyed going through them.

Really that's it. She asked if we have kids or prior marriages and she complimented with me for the job on filing the application, she specified the tab and color-coded system really helped her going through our file and she doesn't have any doubts that our marriage is in bona fide.

She said to expect the 10-year green card to be in my mail within 3 weeks. :)

We are done!!!!

my Green card expired 06/20/2018 and I received the 18 month extension letter does that mean that I am extended until December 20th because the letter says "USCIS is now extending your conditional resident status for 18 months from the expiration date indicated on your I-551 Permanent resident card ?

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

Thanks for all the advice. My extension is also until 19 December 2019. Do you think it will be safe to travel outside of the States for Thanksgiving if I dont have my 10 year card by then?

does anyone think that we could get a second extension letter. I hope not: this waiting is so frustrating.

Anytime!

It's safe. I traveled outside the USA with my extension letter, and I was out of the country for 2 whole months! No issues whatsoever coming back.

Passport, Green card and letter of extension and you are good to go! :)

We also got one. We got not one, but THREE letters over the past 14 months saying that they are reusing biometrics for us. On Saturday we got biometrics appointments in the mail. I have no idea but I admit I'm glad it's not just us. I wondered if there was something wrong with our application.

Did they set an appointment date for you yet or were you just told you have to go redo them?

Expand

They set the appointment for us for this Monday. Good thing I can make it with such short notice.

you good man.

like someone mentioned in the post keep your greencard/extension letter together with your passport.

I traveled last month and had to show both at couple of places and it was good. I have extension till Oct 2019.

Thanks for the websites. It’s weird. One of the websites says my fingerprint review was completed May 2018. And the other says fingerprint review was completed May 2019. I wish there was consistency with updates. I hope that all off us that are waiting will get good news soon

for me the egov just says "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information." it has no mention about my fingerprints at all. again weird = uscis

for the other website same status as fingerprint review completed as of may 2019. I just walked in about week or so ago for my appointment.
