We received our biometrics letter today on 4/27. Dated for 4/20/2018.

Our appointment is scheduled for 5/11/2018 HOWEVER - this is the one week for the whole year we will be out of town. :(

There is a box at the bottom that says please reschedule my appointment. Is it best to just select reschedule? Do we cancel our trip? I don't want this to cause a major set back in the process :(

Any recommendations or is there any other way around this? Our office is in Charlotte, NC - thanks!

Check this thread

I'd just do a walking after missing it. That works really for you have a good excuse. I also read on this forum that the biometric appointment letter has a 90 days to complete it. So just walking in there proudly, and BEG them to do it.

Hey I was worried about this too when I went on a trip last week. I would go early if I were you! Try this week. Here's a thread about people who went early. Seems like most had success. Good luck! let us know how it goes

I also received mine today by the way! Love that usps informed delivery for letting me know this morning. Same as you, notice date 4/20, received today 4/27 and appointment for 5/11

Sent mine May 24. Received May 25. More than a week later no update. Check not been processed for payment. Still waiting. Hope all is well. Golly!

Since you're about 3 weeks ahead of us, can you tell me what the Powerball numbers were for 5/5, 5/12 and 5/19 :)

I'm assuming you mean April? If so, I'm guessing you check will clear Monday and NOA followed 1-3 days afterwards

Got a notification that action was taken and checked our account. It says: “We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case. You do not need to do anything at this time.”

Anyone familiar with this? We hadn’t gotten a biometrics notice yet. Does this mean they used the old ones and we wont get an appointment?
