Why did it take long for you ? What was your sd ?

It took longer because we had two scan dates. I had a scan date toward the end of December, a request for a document in early Feb, and the second scan date was about the 25th-28th of Feb. They wanted another version of the birth certificate, one which was not available at the municipality of my spouse's birth, so I had to explain how it was not available and send another copy of the birth certificate in order to appease them.

Finally an update! 🤗

received at NVC on Feb 12

Case number assigned March 12

case wasn’t available online until March 20. I logged in this morning and paid the AOS fee. We received the welcome letter today via email. Waiting for AOS fee to say “paid” so that I can complete I-864, and send in package. We are almost done.

Going to visit hubby next week ❤️

I just called nvc to ask about the status of my case , the representative told me that my case was already reviewed, but there is a pilot project at my embassy where they have to do additional review of the affidavit of support so they would have less issues at the embassy concernin the avidavit of support. My SD is 03/19 anyone know about this?
