My NOA2 was approved on Feb 12. I received it in mail on Feb 20 and on the same day my USCIS status changed to "we sent your petition to department of state". I called NVC on March 5 and they told me they received it on Feb 28 (I hope that's true, haven't called after that) so, it takes 8-9 days for the petition to reach NVC. I will call today. I hope they don't disappoint me.

I hope you got good news! And that's manageable, 8-9 days. It's the 30-60 days that really makes my head hurt.

Ma date de réception de NVC est le 22 février - pas encore de cas - Pivot.

i heard if interview is after april deadline then they will most likely request 2017 taxes. it says on website u can use old version till i think may. after that u must submit new version.

Regarding the tax returns, my co-sponsor filed his 2017 tax returns electronically, hence when he prints out the copy, there will not be a signature on the 2nd page. Will that be ok? I have not gotten my invoice number yet, and I think it will be after mid April when I get to submit my AOS, so I’ll probably have to include the 2017 returns, but there probably isn’t time to wait for the 2017 tax transcripts. 

 

Another question - I read on the Department of State website (I’ve included the link below) that as of January 2017, ink signature is no longer required on I-864 and that scanned/photocopies of the signed forms are accepted. This is true? Because if it is, it’ll make it much easier and my sponsor & co-sponsor will not need to courier the original copy to me.

YES me too. After checking your timeline it seems like we're similar in dates. My PD is 6/16/17, my petition was approved early feb but received by NVC March 14. 

After waiting about 8 months at USCIS I'm hoping for a speedy process at NVC

painfully, the waiting never ends even after nvc approval. Waiting for about 2 weeks now for my interview date to be scheduled. Cc march 9th. Email confirmation march 12th but no interview date.

Have you called the NVC to see if they got it or if they assigned a case number?

From what I've seen they schedule them the last week of the month through the first week of the month. Hopefully you hear something next week!

Congrats! My scan date is also March 7th, I hope I will get a CC soon! Hopefully you will hear next week on your interview date, they usually schedule them at the end of the month. Good luck!
