I just uploaded all of my documents electronically this week. My parents haven't filed their taxes yet for this year...(they are sponsors). So I sent their tax transcripts for 2014, 2015 & 2016. Do you think since my husbands interview will most likely be after April 17th...that they'll request theirs & my return for 2017 at the interview? I also noticed today that there is a new version of the I-864...I used the older one, which I think is ok. But should I fill out the new one for myself & parents & send the originals we uploaded along with the new version filled out to the interview? Just to be safe? I'm getting paranoid lol

I’m not sure if this question has been asked before. I apologize if it’s an old or silly question - but does it matter whether the I-864 and other supporting documents are in the US letter size or A4 size?

We only use A4 sized paper in my country. Is it ok if I print everything on A4 paper?

I didn't even think about that. I used a4 for everything and no one said anything of that makes you feel better.

I checked. If you mail it in, it will take 6-8 weeks for transcripts to be available...so not likely until end of June.

Congrats Ali. that was quick! Are you interviewing in Beirut? I am considering to slow down the process a bit to see what happens with the bans (for Syrians!)

I just went online & was able to order mine, it says allow 2 weeks to arrive. I filed mine in early February. My parents however, I'll probably need a copy of their return since the transcripts won't be ready in time. Thanks for checking!

Hello Guys,

how long did it take you to be able to pay the first fee after choosing an agent? I just chose an agent and completed the form; but then I cannot see the 'pay now' button! :(

Not to be pessimistic but I have a horrible feeling that the flood gates closed on us February 20th. <_<

Sometime between Feb 18th and Feb 20th, NVC received a mega batch of approvals that they weren't prepared to handle. It was our group that started being told that the norm 2 week wait for case numbers is now 8 weeks. Start reading 10 to 15 pages back for the full story. The snow storms haven't helped any either.
