Not yet. It is freshly created last night, so I think I have to wait for it to be actived in the system.

If it's a pivot case (electronic processing) then unfortunately yes. Mine took 9 weeks to get.

Sorry to hear those with pivot cases are taking so long to even get a case number... stuck in the same boat of waiting, also a pivot case. Really discouraging to say the least :|

It used to take 2 weeks to get one. but I guess since they got backlogged lately including the closures due to weather, they have been slow, hopefully they catch up and return to their quicker/faster days. NVC is faster than USCIS that i can say. Just hang in there soon all this will be history.

To anyone who are waiting for case number. I have 2 case one for mom, one for dad. Based on the case number, my dad case was created last night, and my mom case was made this morning. So i think nvc still working in the case they received on feb 15th today. Don’t loose your hope.

My scan date is 3/7/18, I think we should be getting our CC soon. It seems they are taking around 3 weeks and I saw someone yesterday with a scan date of 3/1 and someone else with 3/2 get their CC's. Good luck!

Same. I hope that's true. My SD is 3/9! Good luck everyone. This wait is awful because you can't do anything. Not even get things ready for the next step.
