It your mistake was on the i864a print a new form and send only that. NVC will send you a detailed email and a coversheet. Double and triple check before sending the new form back to them the last thing you need is a second checklist to delay you any more then you already are.

Looks like a CC

Check the status here. If it says "AT NVC," then you have a CC. Call NVC to confirm.

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Can someone please post a photo of what we’re looking for to indicate a CC. I keep checking my ‘STATUS’ and it’s saying ‘action required submit documents following receipt of DS 260’ although NVC have confirmed they have received all the documents required now, I 864 etc.

i would be grateful to see how the page changes once it’s been completed. Thanks

My case was texas too. I suggest you to check your USCIS tracking number to see if it says sent to department of state. I received NOA2 on december 15 and it was sent to NVC by january 26.

No My case WAS received by NVC on Feb 9. Like 20 different agents told me so for the past one month. I had just been waiting for my case number and out of the blue my peition ends up in EP like a pivot case but neither one of the embassies I am requesting does EP. It is a bizzare situation and they have no answers for me yet. Major screw up by someone at NVC basically. Now in their electronic system is says that they JUST got my petition on March 12! Ridiculous

You are not alone. We are in the exact same boat as you.  Today is exactly 1 month when nvc received our case.  I had big hopes today but when i called they said it can take upto 8 weeks. When I asked when i should call back to  check he said you don't need to call we will send you a welcome letter. He sounded rude.

They've been very rude lately!! I dont understand how they can be so heartless...first of all it goes from 2 weeks to 8 weeks...then they mess up stuff and just say I can't give you an answer you're gonna have to email us...three emails later I am still waiting for an answer as to how the heck my case ended up in EP!

Don't take it personal. Those people just answer the phone. I don't think they are checking documents while answering phone calls. It's above their pay grade well at least that's what I'm guessing. Me personally I had it with 😡 USCIS and NVC. Oh and then after NVC approves my documents I have to wait on the U.S Consulate General. 🙃 Hope we can finish before 2019. 😧 😖

it is a bummer, i know :( please let me know if you find out something new. :)

Hi Muhammad!

Just letting you know that I have an appointment at the U.S. embassy here in Belgium for them to notarise a copy of my passport for the W7 (they specifically have that as a document they notarise on their website). It'll cost 50$ but given the important difference in taxes if we file jointly, it'll be well worth it.

I'll then mail that to my husband so he can apply for the ITIN with his tax return.

Hopefully that's an option for you wife as well!

Do I need to put the document cover sheet outside of the envelop for them to scan the bar code? Or can I make my own cover sheet for the outside of the main envelope?

Inside of the envelop I am planning to put 2 different folder, for AOS and Supporting Documents each.

Help please!
