My IV fee was in process because I paid it 2 days ago, this morning I received the IV fee bill again, and says pay now again. What should I do?

I did to, I thought it was a fluke, I had to call them, print off my online bank statement, email it to them.

There must be a glitch in their system

Hi All - Finally received a case number and the welcome sheet with the checklist. One of the items on the checklist under the AOS section is "Petitioner's Civil Documents". Can someone please help to explain what they are requesting here? The Beneficiary is my husband and therefore we would already be including the copy of our marriage certificate. Should I then mark this "Not Applicable"? Thanks for any guidance!

Hi! Sorry for asking, when did you get approved and when NVC received your petition?

No problem at all. I just made sure my timeline was up to date but details:

NOA2: 04Jan

Sent to NVC: 31Jan

Received at NVC: 07Feb

Case # Assigned: 06Mar

Able to sign into portal and submit DS-261: 14Mar

AOS Fee Unlocked and Paid: 15Mar

So, it's been a longer than anticipated process. Just happy that we have some actions finally!

That is only if you are filing i864A with a household member. Otherwise put an x on not applicable

Everyone has to sign in with case and invoice numbers to pay the AOS and IV fees whether you are doing pivot cases or not

They said it happened because I ask for to review the D261 by the phone. So the system re- sent the same bill. That once the payment is on the system it should change to paid. I don't trust much anymore, I am afraid of waiting a week for them to ask me an email with the copy of the bank statement. My documents already have expiration dates. Time is flying.

I was told to email them a copy of my cleared bank statement, and in the body my name and dob, my husband name and dob and the case number in the subject line, I did this, I also asked "does this mean I can't send my papers" and the answer was no you can send them in now, we just can't get an interview until the DS-260 is completed...

so my advice, if you have your papers together, and your a normal case not a pivot case send those babies in the mail and get them on their way.

I also had mine reviewed by phone.

I am waiting on papers to be completed on my husbands side, and then mine will go in the mail on Monday.
