I finally received our case number today!! NVC received our case on January 8th...over 2 months to get a case number! I already paid AOS fee and IV fee...so excited to finally be moving on to this next phase!!

4-24-17 I-130 sent to Chicago Lock Box

4-25-17 NOA 1 & sent to TSC

11-15-17 NOA 2

12-26-17 Case sent to Dept. of State

1-08-18 NVC Received case

3-12-18 Case Number Assigned / AOS & IV Fees Paid

3-14-18 DS-260 Completed

3-16-18 Uploaded Civil Documents

3-21-18 Uploaded AOS Documents 

3-26-18 Checklist to reupload docs

3-29-18 Finished uploading docs

4-4-18 Case Complete

4-13-18 Received interview email

5-18-18 Interview date 

5-24-18 Visa Issued

pivot case got my case and IIN number after 9 weeks and 1 day!!!!!!!!!

wow crazy congrats...r u pivot case or no? if not why did it take so long?

4/12/17 - NOA1 Sent to Nebraska

1/10/18 - NOA2

1/18/18 - Case Sent to Department of State

1/25/18 - NVC received case

3/30/18 - Case # and IIN assigned

3/30/18 - Paid AOS and IV fee

4/9/18 - AOS and IV fee Status Changed to Paid

4/9/18 - Submit DS 260 and uploaded AOS and IV package

4/16/18 - Case complete

5/7/18 - Received interview email 

6/4/18 - Interview @ 7am at ISL embassy - Approved :jest:

I don't think so...it doesn't say so anywhere and they never mentioned that. They really had no idea why it was taking so long. Last week they told me that they were up to January 12th with assigning case numbers...so they sent an email to the department in charge of assigning case numbers to find out why I hadn't received it. I called this morning and she said that any day now I should receive the email...and then a few hours later I had the welcome email with case & ID numbers.

OMG!!! Guys I just checked my status and it says at nvc and aos line disappeared!!

i called and the agent told me my case was documentarily completed today and I'm in line to be scheduled for an interview!!!!! I am so excited.

 

SD- march 1st

CC- march 12th.

not even two weeks....

Amazing! that's awesome! Congratulations. It is posts like this that are gonna make me crazy (not because of lack of info but because it gives me hope!). any other information you can give? I submitted my packet in impeccable condition with all of the info they would ever need. So I hope that helps with the speediness. Otherwise did you do anything?

Wow congrats!! Is it a pivot case or regular? Im still waiting for cc SD feb 20 hopefully i get cc soon

No, my husband is quite precise. He submitted everything in the coversheet, nothing extra. 

He actually even arranged them according to how it was listed in the coversheet.

Wow thats sound great, some people have to wait couples day even week to get their welcome letter after they received case number and id over the phone. It seems like they send tou the welcome letter right after they create your case number. Congrats
