Hi Everyone! I-130 from Nebraska Service Center PD August 9 approved on February 28th. Received update I-130 sent to the Department of State on March 9th. Am I a March filer for NVC or do I have to wait for April?

This means your case was sent to NVC on March 9th. Hopefully they'll receive it in 7-8 days.

Yes but I know they're backlogged so I am expecting a case number early next month.

Normally it should take 3-4 weeks to get a case # after NVC receives your case from USCIS but yes they are backlogged so good luck.

I'm still waiting on my case #

I'm hoping this will be the week! My case has been with supervisor since Feb 9... Its  pivot case which I thought would be quicker but instead its been a long wait!

I got my NOA2 on Jan 12

And still no case number....

Is just a saying who knows there also regular [not pivot] cases that is taking like 6 weeks to 2 months to get a case number. Maybe is true that they have a lot work since people might be rushing applications due to possible immigration reform. Just my opinion

Anyone here whose case was sent to NVC on March 6 or nearby dates? I just want to follow .

The same situation. But even if DS 261 SAYING ITS PAID, AND COMPLETED .It doesnt mean that IV fee is still unlocked. I will call them tomorrow to ask them to review my DS261, so thats what  you should do as well . Once they review DS261, they will send an email for paying IV FEE. And then we gonna be able to pay it .

Thanks. Will call them  tomorrow

Our case was approved at Nebraska late Feb. Due to the backlog, we're going to get a tourist visa and wait out a few weeks here in the US and return to the host country for the interview. "Yes you can visit" and this thread was a motivating factor in that decision.

Hi, just wanted to share with you our experience. We were trying to do same thing, and get a tourist visa but they simply didn’t give it to us. Officer said not required for tourist visa, already not a tourist but a spouse. But it’s always discretion of an officer, maybe yours will be more kind.
