hm i can ask them but online it says for the most recent tax year. so i did my 2017 taxes in january and have everything done so i would think 2017 is now most recent for me. if u didnt do 2017 yet or filed extension, then 2016 would be most recent for u.

No ours is not a pivot case. We are in the U.K.. It's normal mail process. Ours is ir5 case. And we haven't seen our son since 3 years.

oh wow i hope they consider this when working on cases because they affect people lives who are following the rules and doing it the right way so they should make the process as fast as possible. i would get it if theres delay due to security checks but most seem to be because not enough resources to work on it or bad systems and process.

they consider the most recent tax year to be for the prior year up to the tax deadline of that year, so for them to say most current we would all assume once we do our taxes that is the most current, so look at it April 2017 to April 15 2018 to be 2016 taxes...after April 17th of this year the most current tax will be 2017

yeah that makes sense when u look at it that way. but I HOPE if i tell them i have my 2017 tax transcript, they would prefer that because obviously that is most current data which should be more meaningful for them....

I sent my husband passport of to Texas to get an ITIN,
