Thank you! We checked online and status had changed to ‘at nvc’. So we called immediately and she confirmed that it was indeed a cc.

this link for checking visa status. It will say ‘submit required documents’ if the case is still under review even if you’ve already submitted docs, but if it changes to ‘at NVC’ then chances are it is cc

Ah ok..thanks. Yeah they just received my docs today and i see it says submit required documents. I will be checking again in a week thanks!

Just lettting people know...if in similar situation 

Noa approved Jan 9

sent to NVC Jan 18

received by NVC Jan 25

 

came from Nebraska office and I am for the Sydney consulate

Still awaiting a case #

4/12/17 - NOA1 Sent to Nebraska

1/10/18 - NOA2

1/18/18 - Case Sent to Department of State

1/25/18 - NVC received case

3/30/18 - Case # and IIN assigned

3/30/18 - Paid AOS and IV fee

4/9/18 - AOS and IV fee Status Changed to Paid

4/9/18 - Submit DS 260 and uploaded AOS and IV package

4/16/18 - Case complete

5/7/18 - Received interview email 

6/4/18 - Interview @ 7am at ISL embassy - Approved :jest:

My NOA2 was Jan 4 too! but it was sent to NVC on Feb 1 and they received it Feb 9th...no case # yet..I really hope I get it by this Friday!!

Same here,my case was also sent to NVC on 16th of feb,the received it on the 23rd.just got off the phone with them and the i’ll 2weeks from the time the received my case to put it into their system to get a case number

They said they received mine on 22nd. So hopefully by this Friday we will get a case number!
