Hello guys, 

 

It is a little confusing. So I paid the IV fee and it showed it process. Then 24 hours later, I received another email that tells me the exact thing! Then when I go online, I see that I can pay the IV again!! should I wait a couple of days to see what happens? or should I pay the fee again? dunno if it is a system error or what!

I think you should give them a call. I see people with the same problem for AOS fee and NVC suggested you go to invoice page. If you still can see “in process” then you are good. Do not pay again. Call them first.

Hey all. Haven't been here for sometime being busy. 

I got an original interview date for April, 20 but since my wife is due for our first child toward end of April, the embassy was nice enough to accept my request for an expedited interview. So she will be going next week for her interview. So blessed. 

Hope it goes smooth and fast for everyone.

just fyi pregnant people cant fly i think after their 7th month....

It depends on the airline. Most airlines would allow you to fly on your 9th month if u bring a note from your doctor that there are no complications in the pregnancy...Source: Delta Airlines.

Any May 2018 interviews scheduled this week? I heard they schedule interviews last week of the current month and first week of the next month.

However, an NVC agent told me on the phone that they schedule interviews during the first two weeks on the month, meaning May interviews will be scheduled during the first two weeks in April.

They are scheduling for May for some countries. I got mines today over the phone. If you have a CC call to check if you have an interview date.

Good morning everyone!

Last night my online status changed to "at Nvc" so first thing in the morning today I called NVC and they confirmed that my case is complete!
That was quick yayyy! Less than 4 weeks!

Now I am waiting for the interview. Do you guys know how long it will take them to schedule me an interview? Whats the process?

I am confused can someone help me please...for pivot cases once you submit the fees you fill out the ds 260 form, do I have to print that out ? Also what form do I fill out if my dad will be the sponsor because I'm currently living abroad??

I do send my civil documents like birth certificate, passport  copy, and some photos of wedding and time spent together but not the call log or chat history.

It's recommended to print the ds-260 once you're done filling it out. I'm not sure if you have to bring a copy of it to the interview, but definitely good to have a copy.

You will fill out the I-864 since the petitioner is always the main sponsor...and then your dad will fill out his own I-864. If your dad files taxes jointly with a spouse, then that person should fill out the I-864a.
