The paper work was done in my married surname so I hope that’s ok . The thing is I couldn’t have change it before the paper work started because I didn’t have the marriage certificate my husband did so he jus go right ahead and use my married surname wen he received the marriage certificate.

Ah ok...maybe ask this in the other forum...should the name on the visa match the passport? Have you submitted anything to NVC yet? You have to submit the bio page of the passport...I'm not sure if you can use a different name than what's on the passport.

Hi everyone!

I just called the NVC and got my case number and IIN over the phone :)

They received my case February 20th.

My question is, does anyone have a fair estimate of how long it'll be before I can log into their website and submit anything? Thanks for any help!

Glad to hear someone got a case number. Was it assigned today or last week?

Would my case get delayed if nvc received my civil and aos documents twice? I sent one March 5th and Usps said they may have lost them. So I resent them again and got a scan date of March 21 and I guess they found my old documents I sent on March 5th and also delivered them to nvc Friday. Any ideas? Kinda worried...

When I called nvc the agent told me my case was assign but should take up to 8 weeks for case number. What does he mean by my case was assign? Please anyone

Well, I just called and lo and behold I also got a case number except our case wasn't completely finished. The lady said to give it a day or more to complete but she did give me my case number. :)
