Sorry, I don't know. You may ask the owner, peachouille about this or maybe fill the form again.

Thats ok because as far as I know Italy is not a pivot embassy so it might be misleading for other similar applicants who think Italy is pivot and maybe it takes just 4 weeks for case number for instance. But no problem, I just wanted a confirmation if Italy is a regular case.

2.  You have to provide "Proof of domicile" when your mailing address and/or place of residence is not in the US.

3. Petitioner's civil documents will include marriage certificate, birth certificate, copy of passport, marriage termination documents if any.

Sorry I don't know the rest of them

check listed today :( we sent the police background check but apprently thats different from a New Zealand Police clearance certificate

What was the document called that you sent to them?

New Zealand doesn't have 'police clearance certificates', but your criminal record should do fine instead.

Yes only copy , cos you will need the original for interview. Make sure to send copies of all 3 items you received from the police office which includes the Police certificate, the finger print pages and the page with beneficiary info and passport photograph.

You can check here. If the first 3 letters of your consulate are not mentioned in method 1, then it's not pivot

Naples is NPL and is not there this is why should not be a pivot case but a regular one.

I didn’t put it pivot. Yes please change it thank you.

I modified it on the spreadsheet.

But this is the response from the form (the no is greyed out, I can't modify the form responses, just the spreadsheet after the data is collected):

I have put no when filled the form out. Doesn’t matter anyways. I will update the spreadsheet accordingly when I get case number.

When we fill out the ds261 choice of agent form,  we are supposed to print the confirmation page,  right? Do we send that page with our documents to nvc? Do we need to  send the original?  As I will do it here in London but I plan to scan all documents to my son he will then post the bundle in the U.S.

Someone who has done it already plz help.  Thanks

I believe because they file jointly it's recommended to have your mom fill out the I-864a. That's what I did...then you just need to show their proof of relationship (marriage certificate) & you have to provide proof of US citizenship & US domicile for both. So it's not a lot of extra paperwork to add. I also included their social security statements & pension statements.

@truelove29 I am filling out the I-864a for my mum.

(1) In Part 4 of the I-864A, since she is filing jointly with my dad, the answer is "Yes" to federal income tax return?

(2) For the total income in Part 4 Item 2, do I put what is listed in the total income on the joint tax return?   That would be the same as what I put for my dad's I-864 Part 6.

Just wondering what people are doing here.  I didn't even think to their social security statements (as my dad's W2 is enough).
