Sorta true and false 

Their supervisor review time is up to 6 weeks ,. But in the meantime you still can get your case # assigned as normal 

 

I called them at 2 weeks mark from when they received my case. , Didn't have case # so the rep on phone sent my case to supervisor review , 

I called back in 2 days and they had my case # ready and gave me over the phone  ( this was in Early February )

Wow, they don't even know what they are saying anymore I feel like..I am in the same situation as you, my case was received Feb 13 and I am still waiting for my case number. They said that they sent it to a supervisor and that should "speed up" the process...

That's funny.  They really dont know what they are saying. It's just so frustrating. When will all this come to an end??? Fed up!!!!

Usually it takes then 2-4 business days from them receiving your documents to scan it in

I’m with you. They received  mine on Feb15th. I called everyday. They took my information twice (petitioner and beneficiary name and dob). I will call again tomorrow. Hope we will have the case number soon.

Thank you! No it wasn’t a special case. Regular as everyone else, not a pivot case either, I mailed in the documents. You should be getting something soon too fingers crossed!

Wanted to provide an update: I finally received my case number and invoice number today!!

NOA2: 04Jan

Sent to NVC: 31Jan

Received by NVC: 07Feb

Case and Invoice Numbers assigned: 06Mar (so just under a month to receive a case number...)

 

Hoping the next few steps go quickly!!
